Lead self-serve product growth across the website, product UI, and developer ecosystem, improving acquisition, activation, conversion, and expansion through customer insight, funnel optimization, and rigorous experimentation.
Growth Product Manager
📜 Description
- Own activation, monetization, and expansion experiences, from first presentation to upgrades and growing accounts.
- Design product experiences around the buyer personas most likely to convert and stay.
- Make product features easy to discover, understand, and use.
- Shape product messaging and value propositions across the website, pricing, and paywall.
- Build sharing and invite loops that turn presentations into new signups.
- Design and analyze product experiments, then turn results into decisions the team can act on.
🛠️ Requirements
- 5+ years in growth product at a self-serve product, preferably at a startup, owning activation and monetization with measurable revenue impact
- A track record of pricing and monetization work - paywalls, trials, credits or plan packaging
- Hands-on with onboarding and activation: you have designed a first session and the lifecycle that follows it
- You segment by buyer persona and design for the one that pays, rather than for the average of everyone
- An eye for feature discovery - making capabilities findable and understood instead of buried in a menu
- You write the product messaging and the value proposition yourself, feature by feature, from the website to the paywall
- Experience owning a core web surface - homepage, pricing and signup - as a product, not a marketing page
- Deep analytics fluency - Mixpanel, Amplitude or PostHog plus your own SQL - and the statistical judgement to size a test, avoid false winners and pick the right metric: subscriptions and revenue over clicks
- Comfortable writing clear specs and shipping them with engineering behind feature flags
- Self-starting: you take initiative, solve problems independently and drive work to completion
Full job description
Meet render.ai, monday.com's new AI venture. At render.ai, we're redefining how humans use AI for work. render.ai enables anyone to bring ideas to life in minutes, using their words. We're a small, autonomous team - closer in spirit to an early-stage startup than to an established company. There's no fixed playbook: we're still figuring out what the product looks like, and every engineer helps shape that, not just build it.
You’ll be the person who turns new users into paying, growing customers, and you’ll shape everything that gets them there yourself: activation, the upgrade, product messaging, the website story and the experiments that prove what works.
About The Role
Own the product experience. You own the three moments that turn a new user into a growing customer: activation, getting them to a presentation they are proud of; monetization, the paywall, the upgrade moments, the free offer and what each plan includes; and expansion, the account that grows from there.
Design for the persona who pays. Different buyers arrive for different reasons and need different things. You shape the experience around the ones who convert and stay, not around the average of everyone.
Give every feature its own dedicated experience. Each capability deserves a moment where it is discovered, understood and used - not buried in a menu and never found.
Own product messaging and the value proposition. What we say the product is, feature by feature, and why it is worth paying for - consistent from the website through to the paywall.
Make the website tell our product story clearly. The homepage, pricing and signup are where someone works out what render.ai is and whether it is for them. You own how plainly the story and the offering come across, and keep sharpening it until the decision is easy.
Build the growth loops. Every presentation is seen by people who could become users. Design the sharing and invite loops that turn each one into the next signup.
Own product experiments, their results and what we learn from them. You decide what is worth testing, design the test, read the result honestly and turn it into a decision the team acts on. The learning carries forward, so we are not relitigating the same question twice.

What success looks like
In 90 days: you can say who our paying persona is and what they need, the upgrade moment is rebuilt around what they actually hit, the first pricing test is read, and a lifecycle sequence is live. In a year: activation and free-to-paid are materially higher, every feature has an experience worth finding, and we know why each number moved.
