Our Purpose

At SentinelOne, we are driven by a clear purpose: to give the advantage to those who secure our future. As AI reshapes how organizations build, operate, and innovate, the responsibility to protect them becomes more critical than ever. When you join SentinelOne, your work helps protect global enterprises, critical infrastructure, and the technologies shaping tomorrow. If you are motivated by meaningful challenges and want your impact to be real, measurable, and global, you will find purpose here.

About Us

SentinelOne is a company at the intersection of AI and security, pioneering a new operating model for cybersecurity. Our AI-native platform unifies protection across endpoint, cloud, identity, data, and AI systems to deliver autonomous detection and response with clarity and speed. By combining real-time analytics, intelligent automation, and a unified data foundation, we reduce noise, simplify complexity, and empower security teams to focus on what truly matters.

Our teams are builders, problem-solvers, and innovators committed to shaping the future of security. If you are excited to solve hard problems alongside talented, mission-driven people, we invite you to help us build a safer future for humanity.

What Are We Looking For?

Weโ€™re looking for people who are relentlessly curious and committed to continuous learning. AI is reshaping every function across our business, and we enable every team member, regardless of role or level, to build fluency in AI tools and concepts. Those who thrive here actively seek out new solutions, experiment thoughtfully, and apply what they learn to drive better, faster, smarter outcomes.

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the SRE team at SentinelOne. Our organizationโ€™s mission is to keep our uptime promise to our customers by ensuring we meet our SLOs/SLAs, help our engineering teams ship software to our customers fast and with quality, and ensure our customers are successful. We are looking to add an experienced colleague who has experience running incident post-mortems, automating repetitive operational tasks, improving alerting accuracy, and building and refining processes that reduce downtime. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to lead reliability initiatives and bring best practices to our team.

As a team we value good written communication skills, candor, collaboration, data-driven decisions, and a keen eye for continuous improvements. Youโ€™ll help simplify, have a passion for new ideas and know how to execute iteratively toward the final goal. Your work will directly affect our 'Singularity Platform' - our largest customer facing service, SaaS platform serving as a security control plane to over 15,000 B2B/B2G customers (incl. 4 of Fortune10 and hundreds Global 2000s), deployed across over 6 regions and 2 cloud service providers (AWS/GCP).

What Will You Do?

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Participate in and help drive incident management for production issues, ensuring rapid recovery and root cause analysis; may lead postmortems
  • Improve and optimize the observability strategy
  • Collaborate with application engineering teams to design and implement monitoring solutions that enhance our alerting capabilities and reduce noise
  • Help define and refine SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs that align with business objectives and customer expectations
  • Conduct post-incident review, documenting findings and driving follow-up actions to prevent recurrence
  • Deal with large scale - across our cybersecurity SW products, we daily process in near-real-time 9+ Petabytes of data ingests and 3+ Trillion security events
  • Mentor peers and junior engineers in incident response, troubleshooting techniques, and reliability best practices

What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a related field in cloud native environments
  • Hands-on experience running production workloads on AWS (GCP or Azure a plus), with infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar).
  • Solid experience troubleshooting complex issues under pressure, using and improving established runbooks
  • Deep production Kubernetes experience, including autoscaling, upgrades and troubleshooting at scale.
  • Operate, scale and maintain data ingestion pipelines and data lake services in production, ensuring availability, throughput and data durability across regions.
  • Experience with industry standard observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Python (or Go) and Bash scripting to improve operational workflows and incident response
  • Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines (we levarage ArgoCD and GitHub Actions) and DevOps practices
  • Strong bias for efficient processes, operational simplicity, and automation over manual work.
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted tooling in operations (e.g., incident triage, runbook automation, testing and validation) so changes stay safe, secure and auditable.
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to mentor peers in reliability practices

Why SentinelOne?

AI is redefining how the world operates and rewriting the rules of security in real time, and SentinelOne was built for this moment. From day one, we architected an AI-native platform designed to operate at machine speed, not as an add-on to legacy systems but as the foundation itself. If you want to build where innovation and impact move together, this is that place.

We invest in our Sentinels with comprehensive, competitive benefits designed to support you and your family:
