Full job description
Technology is one of the biggest items in an enterprise CFO’s budget, second only to headcount. Traditional procurement is one of the most frustrating, friction-filled bottlenecks in the modern business.
Vertice is the world’s first Intelligent Procurement Platform eliminating this chaos. By combining agentic workflows, deep AI insights, and a global network of expert negotiators, we empower enterprises to buy smarter and scale at pace.
The market response has been unprecedented:
$75bn+ in spend processed across our platform.
20% savings consistently delivered to our customers.
70% reduction in standard enterprise procurement cycles.
13X revenue growth achieved over the last two years alone.
Founded by serial technology entrepreneurs Roy and Eldar Tuvey, who have successfully scaled and exited two category-defining platforms and created $600M+ in enterprise value, we are backed by over $100M in Series C funding from tier 1 global investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, 83North, Lakestar. We have also been recognized as the #2 fastest-growing company on the Sunday Times' Tech 100 and the fastest-growing startup in the UK and Ireland by the FT’s Sifted (#4 in Europe).
With headquarters in London and hubs in New York, Brno, Sydney, and Johannesburg, we are fundamentally reshaping the global B2B economy.
The Role
This is our first Client Operations hire in APAC. You'll be joining a global team that's already built the playbook for how clients onboard to Vertice — your job is bringing that to the region and adapting it to how APAC customers work. You will own the most critical phase of the customer journey: converting a signed contract into active, happy users on our platform.
We are looking for exceptional people who aren't satisfied with conventional career paths, and want to do something more entrepreneurial. This role will provide you with a seat on one of Europe's fastest-growing rocket ship companies, and a pathway into Account Management (strategic commercial and client relationship owner), Procurement (full-stack negotiator with SaaS vendors), Solutions (product and process transformation owner), Client Strategy & Operations, or generalist roles across the business in operations, strategy, data, or GTM.
As the first Client Ops hire in the region, your fingerprints will be on how the function operates in APAC, backed by the playbook, tools and support of our existing Client Operations team globally. You'll help shape what a regional team looks like as it grows.
What You Can Expect
Build the Blueprint. Design and iterate on our onboarding processes, identifying ways to automate and streamline how we welcome new clients. You'll experiment with AI tooling and new approaches to make this function world-class from day one.
Data Stewardship. Master the collection and structuring of client spend data — uploading contracts, ensuring accuracy, maintaining quality on an ongoing basis. The standard is 99.99% accuracy, same-day. Every inaccurate data point is a trust problem with a real client. You'll work closely with our Data and Procurement teams to ensure zero discrepancies to power our AI insights.
Maintain Stack Hygiene. Keep client accounts clean and current — closing out expired contracts and gaps in the data so every account reflects what's actually live. It's unglamorous work, but it's the foundation everything else, from onboarding to renewals, depends on.
Orchestrate the Journey. Lead the “Success Path” for new customers — managing timelines for technical setup and data migration, coordinating across account managers, solutions consultants, and procurement directors to ensure a seamless Go-Live. Time-to-value is the metric.
Stakeholder Liaison. Act as the central hub between internal teams (Account Management, Solutions, Procurement, Data) and external client stakeholders to unblock documentation hurdles, chase contracts, and keep onboarding moving.
Platform Enablement & Adoption. Lead training sessions for new users — walking procurement teams, finance teams, and IT teams through workflows and making sure people are actually using Vertice. The gap between “the platform is configured” and “people are actually using it” is where client value lives or dies.
Build Visible Trust. Own performance metrics on stack accuracy, time-to-value, and onboarding completion. Report them regularly to the teams that depend on your work. Historically this work has been invisible — you'll make it visible.
The Career Pathway
After a tour of duty in Client Operations (12–24 months), you'll have deep product knowledge, direct client exposure, operational credibility, and a working understanding of how our entire client organisation fits together. That opens pathways across the business:
Account Management — own client relationships, renewals, and expansion as the strategic commercial partner to our biggest clients
Procurement Services — become a full-stack negotiator with SaaS vendors, advising CFOs and procurement leaders on their software spend
Solutions — go deeper on complex configuration, integrations, and deployment as a product and process transformation owner
Client Strategy & Operations — build the processes, measurement systems, and operating rhythm that run client delivery at scale
Generalist roles across the business — operations, strategy, data, GTM. The exposure you get here makes you a strong candidate well beyond the client organisation
