Own Escapeβs product marketing strategy, positioning, and go-to-market execution, translating application security technology into clear messaging that resonates with technical audiences and drives adoption.
Senior Product Marketing Manager
π Description
- Evolve platform positioning, messaging, and proof points with the product marketing team.
- Build a voice-of-customer practice through customer conversations, site visits, win/loss reviews, advisory boards, and sales-call analysis.
- Develop customer stories and product demos that connect platform capabilities to operational buyer outcomes.
- Lead product launches that tie new capabilities to customer problems.
- Create field enablement and feed deal insights back into messaging and product decisions.
- Use market, competitive, and customer signals to inform product and go-to-market strategy.
π οΈ Requirements
- You are a storyteller first. You can demo the product and tell the story of what it changes for a customer as well as anyone in the company, and you know that sharp positioning is about the outcome, not the feature.
- You understand manufacturing or another regulated industry, or you have proven you can learn one by going to the people who do the work: customer conversations, site visits, win and loss reviews, customer advisory boards.
- You think and write with precision and specificity, and you are accountable commercially. You can point to a win rate or a campaign result that moved because of a positioning call you made.
- AI is already part of how you work, and you know it is a starting point for customer insight, not a substitute for talking to customers, sales and the customer team.
- 5-7+ years of product marketing experience, with a track record of shaping how a complex B2B product is positioned, sold and understood in the market
- The ability to turn a complex B2B enterprise platform into positioning that lands with operational buyers in terms of the outcomes they care about, with examples where that positioning had a measurable effect on win rates, adoption or how the field sells
- Demonstrated AI fluency in your own workflow, and just as importantly, a demonstrated ability to build strong cross functional relationships that deepen your understanding of the customer and give credibility to the strategy you recommend
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent working experience
β¨ Benefits
- Direct impact on product and culture
- Company equity
- Health insurance
- Dental insurance
- Vision insurance
- Short-term and long-term disability insurance

About You:
What skills do I need?
- 5-7+ years of product marketing experience, with a track record of shaping how a complex B2B product is positioned, sold and understood in the market
- Understanding of manufacturing or a regulated industry, gained either by working in one or by building a real voice of the customer practice in an industry you did not come from: direct customer conversations, on site visits, win and loss reviews, customer advisory boards and synthesis of sales call recordings. Experience working directly in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of discrete manufacturing pain points and use cases, is a major plus
- Startup or scale up experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent working experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Influence and evolve Tulip's platform narrative alongside the product marketing team: the positioning, messaging and proof points that revenue marketing and the industry marketers adapt for their campaigns and segments
- Build and run a voice of the customer practice with product and customer success: customer conversations, site visits with sales, win and loss reviews, customer advisory boards and synthesis of sales calls, and turn what you learn into positioning
- Develop positioning and customer stories that connect product capabilities to customer value for operational buyers, and demo the product in support of them
- Run product launches as narrative moments that connect each new capability back to the problems customers are trying to solve
- Build enablement the field actually uses, and run a feedback loop from live deals back into messaging and product
- Use market, competitive and customer signal to form a point of view on where Tulip wins, and bring it into product and go to market decisions
Key Collaborators:
- Product Marketing, Product Management and Customer Success
- Sales, Solutions Engineering and the customer teams
- Revenue Marketing and the industry marketers; marketing leadership
