About Voyagu
Voyagu is a travel technology company building and scaling premium travel businesses. We combine experienced travel teams with technology and practical operational support to make the travel industry work better for both customers and the people serving them.
Our Travel Organization has around 100 people and is growing. We are looking for someone who can help that growth run smoothly behind the scenes.
The role
We need a hands-on People Operations Manager who brings order to the full employee journey — from joining the company to leaving it. You will make everyday administration reliable, help managers follow formal performance procedures, and make it easier to understand how new hires progress over time.
This is not a role focused on writing HR strategies or running culture programs. You will own practical problems, build better processes, and see the results of your work.
What you will do
Keep employee administration running smoothly. Coordinate contracts, payroll information, employee records, employment changes, onboarding paperwork and exits. Work with Finance and other teams to make sure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Keep performance procedures on track. HelpManagers complete formal warnings, performance improvement plans (PIPs) and exits correctly. Prepare and track documents, deadlines, checkpoints and approvals. Managers make performance decisions and have employee conversations; you make sure the supporting process works.
Track what happens to new hires. Connect information from Recruitment, Sales, Operations and HR so we can see how each hiring group progresses through onboarding, their first months of production and beyond. Help us understand retention, early departures and differences between offices.
Improve the system. Fix repetitive administrative problems, establish simple workflows and checklists, and automate tasks where practical. Make the company easier to run as the team grows.
Who you will work with
You will work closely with the CEO to provide a clear view of people-related trends and issues across the organization; with Heads of Sales Offices to keep onboarding, employee changes and performance procedures running smoothly; and with Team Leaders on documentation and required steps. You will also partner with Recruitment, Operations, Data and Finance.
Managers and Leaders remain responsible for their teams, coaching and commercial results. Your job is to help them operate effectively, not to manage their employees for them.
What we are looking for
- Around 5+ years of hands-on HR Operations, People Operations or similar experience (relevant achievements matter more than years).
- Experience in a growing organization with regular hiring, onboarding and employee departures.
- Practical knowledge of contracts, payroll coordination, employee records and offboarding.
- Direct experience supporting formal warnings, PIPs or comparable performance procedures.
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail and the confidence to follow up with busy managers.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, HR systems and employee data.
- Examples of processes you personally improved or automated.
- Strong written and spoken English, sound judgment and discretion.
Experience in fast-growing technology, fintech, customer operations, BPO or contact centers is a plus. Experience supporting remote teams is also useful.
What makes you a great fit
You take ownership, follow through, and notice problems before they turn into emergencies. You are calm in sensitive situations, confident enough to challenge a manager when something is missing, and practical enough to choose a simple solution over unnecessary bureaucracy. You enjoy turning scattered information and manual work into clear, repeatable processes.
Why join Voyagu
You will have the opportunity to build and improve how a growing travel-tech business operates. Your work will directly reduce friction for employees and managers, improve the reliability of important procedures, and give leaders better visibility into how their teams are growing.
If you enjoy making complicated operations simple and reliable, we would like to hear from you.
