We are seeking a highly experienced, commercially driven Amazon Brand Manager to take complete ownership of a multimillion-dollar Amazon product portfolio for an established, rapidly growing US-based ecommerce business.

This is a senior, hands-on position requiring an entrepreneurial individual who can manage an Amazon catalog as though it were their own business, taking accountability for commercial performance, profitability, product positioning and long-term growth.

The successful candidate will oversee the complete product lifecycle, including pricing, product listings, advertising, inventory, promotions, competitive analysis and product optimisation.

This is not an administrative or virtual assistant position. We are looking for an experienced Amazon marketplace professional who has independently managed substantial product portfolios, understands the commercial drivers of profitability and can demonstrate measurable results.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Amazon Portfolio & Commercial Management

  • Take full ownership of a multimillion-dollar Amazon product portfolio.
  • Manage the commercial performance of assigned product categories and listings.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth while protecting net profit margins.
  • Develop and execute product pricing, positioning and promotional strategies.
  • Monitor product profitability, advertising costs, inventory performance and competitive positioning.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product margins and overall portfolio performance.
  • Make independent, data-driven commercial decisions to maximise profitability.

Amazon Seller Central & Listing Optimisation

  • Manage day-to-day Amazon marketplace operations through Seller Central.
  • Optimise product titles, descriptions, keywords, bullet points and backend search terms.
  • Develop and improve A+ Content to strengthen product presentation and conversion rates.
  • Evaluate product imagery, packaging, positioning and listing quality.
  • Identify underperforming listings and implement corrective strategies.
  • Ensure product listings remain accurate, competitive and aligned with marketplace requirements.

Amazon Advertising & PPC Management

  • Develop, manage and optimise Amazon PPC advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor advertising performance, campaign efficiency and profitability.
  • Analyse advertising expenditure in relation to sales and net margins.
  • Implement strategies to improve advertising efficiency and product visibility.
  • Identify opportunities to scale successful campaigns while reducing inefficient spend.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to align advertising activity with commercial objectives.

Product Development & Market Research

  • Conduct detailed competitor analysis and monitor market developments.
  • Identify emerging consumer trends and potential product opportunities.
  • Research product formats, packaging concepts and consumer preferences across Amazon, Etsy, TikTok and Pinterest.
  • Recommend new product concepts, improvements and relaunch opportunities.
  • Evaluate product performance and recommend changes to improve competitiveness.
  • Lead product relaunch initiatives and monitor their commercial impact.

Inventory & Operational Management

  • Monitor inventory availability, stock performance and replenishment requirements.
  • Coordinate inventory planning to support sales forecasts and promotional activity.
  • Identify and address inventory risks that may affect profitability or product availability.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, creative and marketing teams to support portfolio performance.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documented operating procedures.

Reporting, Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Take ownership of weekly Amazon catalog performance reporting.
  • Monitor revenue, net profit, advertising performance, pricing and inventory metrics.
  • Identify trends, commercial risks and growth opportunities through data analysis.
  • Present actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Challenge existing processes and introduce improvements that enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Use AI tools and automation to streamline research, analysis, reporting and operational workflows.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience managing Amazon product lines, categories or substantial ecommerce portfolios.
  • Proven experience taking end-to-end ownership of an Amazon catalog or product category.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central.
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Advertising, PPC campaign management and advertising optimisation.

  • Experience using AI tools for research, reporting, optimisation and operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and documented SOPs.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
  • Confident decision-maker with a proactive, accountable and commercially focused mindset.

Key Performance Indicators

Performance will be evaluated against:

  • Sustainable product and category revenue growth.
  • Amazon PPC efficiency and advertising profitability.
  • Product listing conversion rates and organic visibility.
  • Inventory availability, forecasting accuracy and stock performance.
  • Successful product optimisation and relaunch initiatives.

First 90 Days

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Take ownership of weekly Amazon catalog performance reporting.

  • Initiate at least one product relaunch or significant product improvement.
  • Identify and challenge at least one existing process, recommending a measurable improvement.
  • Establish clear priorities and an actionable growth strategy for the assigned portfolio.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Amazon marketplace professional who thinks and operates like a business owner.

You should be equally comfortable analysing profitability, optimising advertising campaigns, evaluating product imagery and making strategic commercial decisions.

The ideal candidate has previously managed a substantial Amazon catalog, understands how to balance growth with profitability and can clearly demonstrate the commercial impact of their work.

You must be confident taking initiative, challenging existing approaches and making recommendations backed by data.

Application Requirements

Shortlisted candidates should be prepared to discuss specific examples of Amazon portfolios they have managed, including catalog size, commercial performance, profitability improvements and successful growth initiatives.

Candidates will also be required to complete structured assessments and provide a short professional video introduction.

This is a fully remote position requiring full availability during US Central business hours.
