Full job description

Do you want to play a key role in growing the impact of an ambitious healthcare scale-up in Canada?

As an empathetic and consultative Account Manager, you will be the face of Momo Medical for long-term care homes across Southern Ontario. Together with our Canadian team, you will help LTC organizations explore how technology can reduce the workload for care teams and improve the quality of care for residents.

Who is Momo?

Momo Medical is a fast-growing and ambitious healthcare scale-up tackling one of the biggest societal challenges we face: the future of elderly care. Over the next 10 years, the demand for care will continue to grow significantly, while a large part of the current workforce will retire.

Our solutions are designed to reduce the pressure on care professionals while improving the quality of care. In short: we want to improve the quality of life for LTC residents and make the work of care professionals a little easier every day.

Momo was founded in the Netherlands and today works with care organizations across Europe and North America. Canada is still a relatively new market for us, which means you will join a small local team and play an important role in our ambitious growth plans!

About the role

As an Account Manager at Momo, you are the trusted face of Momo for existing and potential LTC organizations in your region.

Your role starts with understanding. What is happening inside an LTC home? What challenges are care teams experiencing? What is important to management? And could Momo actually help?

You build relationships with management teams and care professionals and help LTC organizations explore Momo through a free pilot. For us, success is not about making a quick sale. A successful pilot means that Momo is being used well, care professionals experience value in their daily work and the organization has enough insight to make an informed decision about a long-term partnership.

What you will be doing

๐Ÿฅ Building relationships: You proactively connect with LTC organizations across the GTA and Southern Ontario. You meet management teams and care professionals, ask questions, listen carefully and learn what is happening within their organization.

๐Ÿงญ Guiding pilots: You initiate and guide free pilot periods with LTC homes. You stay closely involved, bring the right people together and make sure the organization can properly experience the impact of Momo.

๐Ÿค Growing partnerships: When Momo creates value, you continue building the relationship and work together with the organization to expand to more residents or locations.

๐Ÿš— Being where the care happens: You will spend around 70% of your time visiting LTC homes across the GTA and Southern Ontario. This is very much a boots-on-the-ground role.

Who are you?

  • You are naturally curious. You want to understand how an LTC organization works, what is happening on the floor and why people do things the way they do. You ask questions, listen carefully and keep digging instead of jumping to conclusions or immediately offering a solution.

  • You are good with people and genuinely interested in them. You can build trust with a care professional just as naturally as with an administrator or senior leader, and you understand that each person may have a different perspective. You can adjust your approach accordingly.

  • You have experience in relationship management, consulting or a commercial role, for example within healthcare, SaaS or a scale-up. We care more about what you have learned, how you work with people and your natural commercial sense than about a specific number of years of experience.

  • You are patient and understand that building meaningful partnerships takes time. You are interested in finding the right solution together rather than simply making a sale.

  • You take ownership and are comfortable working independently. You organize your own schedule, follow up when you say you will and take responsibility for moving things forward, while staying closely connected to the rest of the Momo team.

  • You are comfortable with change. Momo Canada is still growing and not everything has a playbook yet. You enjoy figuring things out, sharing what you learn and adapting along the way.

  • You are open to feedback and actively want to develop yourself. At Momo, we expect people to challenge each other, learn from mistakes and continuously get better at what they do.

  • Previous experience or a network within Canadian long-term care is a plus, but definitely not a requirement.

  • You have a valid driverโ€™s licence, a reliable car, and are able to travel frequently throughout the GTA and Southern Ontario.

Why join Momo?

  • You want to use your skills and experience to make a meaningful difference in long-term care in Canada.

  • You enjoy working with enthusiastic and talented colleagues towards a shared goal, while having fun along the way.

  • You feel at home in a fast-growing scale-up where personal growth, teamwork and taking ownership are important.

What we offer

๐Ÿ’ฐ Salary: 70,000 - 100,000 CAD (based on a full-time work week) + performance-based bonus, depending on experience and qualifications

๐Ÿš— Mileage reimbursement for travelling to LTC homes throughout Southern Ontario.

๐Ÿ’ป Laptop and phone to make sure you have everything you need while working on the road.

๐ŸŒด Full-time employment with a flexible employee benefits plan.

๐ŸŽ—๏ธ Continuous training and personal coaching to help you keep developing in your role.

๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Regular connection with your colleagues in the Netherlands, including occasional trips to our headquarters in Delft (NL) for onboarding and training.

๐Ÿ’› A role where your work can have a tangible impact on care professionals and residents in long-term care.
