As an Engineering Lead (f/m/d) at LIQID, you will lead a team of software engineers building our next-generation digital wealth management platform — managing over €3 billion in assets.

As a hands-on engineering leader, you balance technology and people, provide technical direction, write high-quality code and help your team to grow personally and professionally. You align engineering efforts with product and business goals to ensure that we deliver features that delight clients and scale sustainably. You empower your team to move fast without compromising on quality, establish best practices, and contribute to shaping LIQID’s technical vision and engineering culture.
Own your team’s domain from a technical and architectural perspective
Drive technical design, code quality, testing, and system reliability best practices
Actively contribute to the codebase and development lifecycle while unblocking and supporting your team
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other Engineering Leads to define and execute the product roadmap
Foster a high-performance engineering culture that values autonomy, ownership, and continuous improvement
Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve scalability, developer experience, and delivery processes across teams
Mentor and develop engineers through regular feedback, career planning, and mentoring
5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, ideally in a web or mobile environment
Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js, familiarity with frontend frameworks like React or React Native and databases such as PostgreSQL or Redis
Solid understanding of scalable system design, software architecture patterns and clean code principles
Proven experience mentoring and leading high-performance engineering teams
