As a Product Marketing Manager II, you'll drive product strategy, manage quarterly launches, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance market presence and customer engagement.
Product Marketing Manager, AI Governance (EMEA)
📜 Description
- Own launch execution across the AI portfolio, managing the launch calendar and cross-functional processes.
- Drive campaign strategy and content, partnering with demand generation to create messaging frameworks and content assets.
- Serve as the commercial interface layer between the AI product marketing team and sales functions.
- Support field and partner enablement by delivering launch-aligned sales assets and competitive positioning.

🛠️ Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or solutions engineering — ideally at an AI/ML platform company.
- A genuine, hands-on interest in AI infrastructure. You follow developments in LLM deployment, agentic frameworks, the Model Context Protocol, and AI governance, and can speak credibly to AI platform engineers without bluffing.
- A proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into crisp narratives that land with both technical practitioners and C-suite buyers.
- A track record of developing product launches, sales enablement materials, and competitive intelligence programs that move pipeline and accelerate deals.
- Highly collaborative — you thrive working across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partner teams.
- Comfortable owning a stage: keynote presentations, analyst briefings, customer roundtables, and demo-heavy sessions energize you rather than intimidate you.
- Experience in open-source software, SaaS platforms, and enterprise go-to-market motions is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with the AI connectivity landscape — including awareness of competing and complementary vendors across API gateways, AI observability, vector databases, iPaaS, and agentic orchestration frameworks — is a strong plus.

Product Marketing Manager, AI Governance (EMEA)
Location: EMEA
About the Role
Kong is building the connectivity layer for the AI era — securing, governing, and monetizing every LLM, MCP, agent, and API request in production.
As the Product Marketing Manager for our AI portfolio, you'll be the commercial engine behind the fastest-moving part of our business. Working alongside a team of deeply technical product marketers who own positioning for AI traffic management, agent identity, and AI observability, you'll plan the launches, campaigns, and content that drive pipeline.
This is a high-leverage execution role. You'll own launches, content, and campaign execution across the entire AI portfolio, serving as the single interface between AI R&D and the demand generation, field marketing, and sales teams that bring our story to market.
What You'll Do
Own launch execution across the AI portfolio — Manage the launch calendar, tiering framework, and cross-functional launch process for all AI product releases, coordinating inputs from technical PMM specialists into cohesive go-to-market moments.
Drive campaign strategy and content — Partner with demand generation and field marketing to build campaign briefs, messaging frameworks, and content assets (web copy, ebooks, webinars, videos) that translate technical differentiation into buyer-relevant narratives.
Serve as the commercial interface layer — Act as the single point of contact between the AI product marketing team and downstream marketing and sales functions, ensuring consistent messaging across every AI offering.
Support field and partner enablement — Collaborate with the revenue enablement team to deliver launch-aligned sales assets, talk tracks, and competitive positioning for the AI portfolio.
Coordinate with event marketing — Drive AI portfolio presence at flagship events, including product announcements, session content, and booth messaging.
Measure and iterate — Track launch and campaign performance, gather field feedback, and continuously refine messaging and asset strategy based on what moves pipeline.
