- Perform month-, quarter-, and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Support and review accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Assist with sales/use and property tax reporting, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules.
- Support financial reporting, variance analysis, management reporting, and inventory accounting.
- Partner across departments, support audits and ERP projects, and improve accounting processes.
🛠️ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Approximately 5+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience
- Strong hands-on experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Experience working with AP and AR
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Strong Excel skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to investigate discrepancies and independently solve accounting issues
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, deadline-driven accounting environment
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, inventory, or another product-based environment
- Sales/use tax and/or property tax experience
