G MASS Consulting are supporting a leading Lloyd's of London managing agency based in the City. We're looking for a SQL Server Developer to join their BI team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of maternity leave. In this role, you'll create new and maintain existing SQL Server objects supporting an in-house developed data warehouse. You'll work closely with business users, internal clients and the wider BI team to analyse requirements and deliver technical solutions.
This role offers hybrid working, with 2–3 days per week in the office. Hours are flexible, based on a 7-hour working day with a start time between 8am and 10am. The role is available to start as soon as possible.

Administer SQL Server databases and Windows servers across development, test, and production environments, supporting performance, security, backups, recovery, data integration, reporting, and system availability.
Administer and optimize production SQL Server environments, lead upgrades and reliability practices, automate database operations, and support cloud database migrations, application teams, and incident response.
Garante a disponibilidade, performance e confiabilidade de bancos de dados em produção, liderando tuning, recuperação de desastres, observabilidade, automação e suporte técnico às equipes de engenharia.
