Warehouse Trainer & Reporting Specialist

The Warehouse Trainer & Reporting Specialist drives operational excellence by onboarding new hires, standardizing warehouse workflows, and building data-driven performance reporting. This hybrid role bridges frontline training and operational analytics—ensuring associates are thoroughly trained in safety, equipment operation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while maintaining reporting tools to track onboarding speed and labor efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Talent Development

• Onboarding & New Hire Training: Facilitate comprehensive orientation and hands-on training programs for new warehouse associates across receiving, picking, and shipping.
• Equipment & Safety Certification: Conduct certified safety training and hands-on evaluations for Material Handling Equipment (MHE)—including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks.
• SOP Standardization: Audit dock workflows, maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and lead retraining efforts when quality or productivity gaps are identified.
• Cross-Training Execution: Build and execute multi-skill cross-training matrices to ensure operational flexibility during peak volume seasons.

Data Analytics & Performance Reporting

• Metric Tracking: Compile, generate, and distribute daily and weekly performance reports covering key warehouse KPIs.
• Executive Scorecards & Presentations: Synthesize complex facility data into weekly executive scorecards and presentation decks (utilizing Excel and PowerPoint) for leadership review.
• Dashboard & Visual Maintenance: Maintain automated spreadsheets, graphs, and visual dashboards to provide real-time status updates on operational fill rates, overtime trends, and facility performance.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Timely and accurate delivery of daily and weekly reporting packages.
• High integrity of data across all scorecards, graphs, and executive presentations.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Education, or Data Analytics preferred.
• Experience: 2–4 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 1 year in a dedicated training, lead, or reporting capacity.
• Certifications: OSHA-compliant Forklift / MHE Train-the-Trainer certification preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days with the company.
• Technical Skills:
• Excel: Proficient with Pivot Tables, vlookups, conditional formatting, and dashboard building.
• Data Visualization: Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint for creating training decks and visual management boards.

• Analytical Thinking: Ability to synthesize raw operational data into clear, actionable visual trends.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in entering data, verifying metrics, and managing distribution lists.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills to consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly reporting deadlines.

Pay and Benefits:

US$24.00 Hourly

Final compensation offered will be determined based on a number of job-related factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. Employees in this role are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits program, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company matching, accrued vacation, floating holidays, and designated company holidays.
