We’re looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to take ownership of statutory and regulatory compliance across our estate. Reporting to our Head of Facilities and Maintenance, you’ll build strong governance and assurance processes, identify and manage risk, and help our operational teams maintain consistently high standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting under the skin of compliance, spotting where things could be better, and working with people across a multi-site business to make change happen.

Why Join Us?

✅ Excellent bonus potential up to 20% of salary
✅ Exclusive discounts: Up to 55% off for you, your partner, and loved ones
✅ Inclusive benefits: Enhanced maternity, paternity, pension, sick pay & life assurance
✅ Career development: Fantastic training opportunities, including funding for qualifications

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be our go-to person for facilities compliance, with responsibility for areas including fire, water, gas, electrical, asbestos and building safety.

Your role will include:

  • Owning and developing our statutory and regulatory compliance frameworks

  • Planning and overseeing internal, external and statutory audits and inspections

  • Identifying non-conformances and making sure corrective actions are followed through to completion

  • Spotting emerging risks and trends and turning those insights into practical improvements

  • Working closely with our Regional Facilities Managers to maintain strong contractor compliance and safe working practices

  • Supporting incident investigations and ensuring preventative actions are embedded

  • Keeping policies, procedures and training materials up to date

  • Monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and translating them into action

  • Providing senior leaders with clear, meaningful reporting on compliance, risks and progress

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with solid experience of estates, facilities or property compliance within a multi-site environment, who can combine technical knowledge with the confidence to influence others.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Relevant facilities, technical or property compliance experience

  • Proven knowledge across fire, water, gas, electrical, asbestos and building safety compliance

  • A NEBOSH General Certificate, or an equivalent relevant health and safety qualification

  • A strong understanding of UK statutory and regulatory requirements

  • Experience managing audits, non-compliance and corrective actions

  • Strong governance, risk and compliance reporting skills

  • The ability to build relationships with operational teams and contractors

  • A structured, detail-focused approach with the confidence to challenge when something isn’t right

What success looks like

You’ll play a key part in helping Moto achieve zero critical compliance failures, strong statutory audit outcomes, improved contractor compliance and clear, timely visibility of compliance risks.

Ready to make an impact?

If you’re a compliance professional who wants the opportunity to own, influence and improve compliance across a national operation, we’d love to hear from you.
