Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $165,000 - $225,000
USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $146,000 - $206,000

Some positions may occasionally require in-person work at an Affirm office, and a few are office-based due to the nature of the work. Build and ship full-stack web, mobile, and API solutions for the Card Acquisition team, collaborating across product and engineering while supporting service reliability, metrics, and on-call operations.
Build and scale full-stack membership features across backend services and mobile app surfaces, owning projects from architecture and API design through polished UI delivery and ongoing code health.
Develop and maintain Python and React components for a data-intensive cloud platform, building REST APIs, integrations, and database functionality while collaborating with an Agile engineering team.
Build and improve a TypeScript web application across frontend interfaces and backend APIs, turning meeting data into dashboards and reports while integrating customer tools and refining the product through testing and feedback.
Build full-stack web experiences with Contentful, React, TypeScript, and Next.js, designing content models, APIs, and system integrations while collaborating with client teams in an agile environment.
