About the Project

Our client is a fast-growing U.S.-based technology company developing an innovative AI-powered SaaS platform for the Commercial Real Estate industry.

Their platform combines Artificial Intelligence, advanced analytics, cloud computing, and high-resolution imagery to help property owners, operators, and asset managers make smarter decisions about property inspections, maintenance planning, capital investments, and asset performance.

By transforming large volumes of property data into actionable insights, the platform enables organizations to reduce operational costs, improve efficiency, extend asset lifecycles, and proactively identify maintenance opportunities before they become critical issues.

As part of the engineering team, you'll contribute to building modern cloud-native applications that leverage AI and data to solve complex real-world challenges while delivering meaningful business value to customers.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus in Python, complemented by experience with React and AWS.

This is a backend-heavy role where you'll design and develop scalable services, APIs, and cloud-native applications while contributing to frontend development when needed.

You'll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to build and evolve a modern AI-powered SaaS platform used by customers across the United States.

The ideal candidate is passionate about software engineering, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and thrives in fast-paced product environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate on frontend development using React when needed.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Participate in software architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, and Software Engineers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical design sessions, and code reviews.
• Research, evaluate, and implement modern frameworks, tools, and engineering best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering standards, platform quality, and development processes.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer working in production environments.
• Strong backend development experience using Python.
• Experience developing modern web applications with React.
• Hands-on experience working with AWS.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience building scalable cloud-native applications.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and software design principles.
• Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FastAPI, Django, or similar Python frameworks.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience working with Microservices Architecture.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Exposure to Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Generative AI technologies.
• Experience working on SaaS products or product-oriented companies.
