WellTheory is building a new model of care for people living with autoimmune conditions, grounded in functional nutrition. We're growing our RD team and welcome practitioners from all backgrounds and career paths who are excited to bring root-cause, whole-person approaches to helping members thrive.
Work Monday–Friday, 10a–6:30p PST, delivering our proprietary care program directly with members. You'll assess health concerns, co-create personalized care plans, and support sustainable, anti-inflammatory lifestyle changes — with real autonomy to bring your own clinical perspective and experience to a growing field.
Partner with members on personalized, functional nutrition care plans
Use lab testing to identify nutrient deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and gut health concerns
Support sustainable anti-inflammatory eating patterns and lifestyle changes (stress, sleep, movement)
Deepen your expertise through specialized functional nutrition training
Help shape our care model and team culture as an early contributor
BS in Nutrition/Dietetics + active RD licensure (CDR or state equivalent)
1+ years of dietetics experience, including MNT, disease management, or behavior-change support
Comfort navigating ambiguity and taking ownership in an evolving, early-stage environment
Telehealth or functional nutrition clinic experience
Familiarity with AIP/anti-inflammatory diets, functional lab testing, hormonal or gut health support
IFNCP certification (qualifies you for our Functional RD track — higher pay band)

Provide virtual transitional care for recently discharged members by conducting clinical assessments, reconciling medications, escalating urgent concerns, and coordinating follow-up to support safe recovery and reduce readmissions.
Provides pregnancy and postpartum nutrition care through individual and group visits, while developing protocols and safety measures for a telemedicine-based nutritional health support system.
Provide personalized optometric care through complete virtual eye exams, real-time diagnostic feeds, patient education, and treatment while fostering a compassionate, patient-first experience.
Provides occupational nursing services by coordinating medical exams and workplace health programs, supporting emergency preparedness, maintaining medical supplies and records, and advising the unit’s occupational health team.
