Senior Full-Stack Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for Senior Full-Stack Engineer with strong experience across React/TypeScript frontend development and Node.js/TypeScript backend systems. This is a long-term, fully remote opportunity within a fast-moving fintech environment, working EST hours.
The ideal candidate is proactive, asks thoughtful questions, and builds reliable, maintainable systems. The team actively uses AI coding tools such as Claude, so candidates must be comfortable using them and explaining their technical decisions.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain production-grade React, Node.js, and TypeScript applications.
Develop backend services, APIs, integrations, and server-side validation.
Manage PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, queries, indexes, and performance.
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Design scalable systems using caching, queues, and background jobs.
Improve legacy code and contribute to ongoing technical remediation.
Collaborate with the team and clearly communicate technical decisions.
As a Senior Full Stack Typescript Engineer (AI), you will own features from ambiguous business problems to production, focusing on building an AI-native fintech product with a small, senior team.
Design and deliver full-stack Access Security features that use AI to surface identity risks and guide remediation, shaping intuitive React experiences and reliable backend services for enterprise customers.
Design, build, and maintain production-grade web applications across React front ends and Express back ends, shaping technical decisions and delivering secure, scalable solutions with TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
Build and maintain scalable full-stack applications across React, C#,.NET Core, and Python, contributing to new features, legacy modernization, cloud services, integrations, and reliable software delivery.
Build and maintain full-stack features for a B2B platform, using PHP and modern JavaScript frameworks to develop APIs, integrate services, optimize databases, and apply AI coding tools responsibly.
