Reporting to the Business Services Manager, this role will perform a pivotal function in ensuring we maintain prudent cost control of the network services that drive Megaport products and services.
To succeed in this role you should have an analytical way of thinking and be able to clearly articulate and construct reporting and business process systems to assist the business to justify expenditure whilst driving internal process efficiencies. We are constantly evolving and growing the way in which we conduct business and you will be challenged to improve the way we operate and drive improvements to the Megaport Operations Team.
Analyzing the Operations cost base working closely with Procurement and Network Strategy teams proactively identifying opportunities and cost savings initiatives
Modify and enhance current business workflows looking at new AI solutions for efficiencies ensuring we can scale with acquisitions and the business's organic growth
Provide monthly reporting on key performance indicators for COGS and Capex
Build Financial Year budgetary requirements for COGS and Capex
Strong Excel financial modelling skills with expertise in budgeting and reporting
Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
The ability to write clear and concise business requirements and objectives to an Executive audience
Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
A working knowledge of AI and business integration
A minimum of five (5) years experience in business analytics or a related field
A solid understanding of accounting principles and cost management
Experience with global Networking Technologies

Own equipment and supply-chain financial planning, connecting supplier commitments, purchasing, deployment, depreciation, inventory exposure, and cash forecasts to infrastructure investment decisions.
Supports financial and operational management of energy assets through reporting, forecasting, market-settlement analysis, and performance insights, helping teams maintain compliant operations and improve asset availability.
Analyze commercial asset-backed securities transactions from collateral and bond-structure review through rating committee presentations and report publication, while supporting ongoing surveillance and market research.
