Creative Director

About JumpSeat

JumpSeat is a B2B growth agency and advisory built around a simple belief: the best opportunities rarely come from the obvious signals.

We help go-to-market teams find the non-obvious signals others miss and turn them into highly relevant outreach that earns a response. It's an antidote to the automated, generic outbound buyers have learned to ignore.

Our Signal Intelligence methodology combines prioritized accounts, custom signal libraries, AI-assisted research, and 1:1 messaging based on what's actually happening inside a target account, before everybody else sees it.

We're a remote-first crew across the US and Buenos Aires. We care about bold, ground breaking work, and about the people who make it.

The role

We're looking for a Creative Director to lead our creative department.

This is more than a creative leadership role. You'll lead the people, the capacity, and the way we work: our two full-time creatives, our freelance bench, and the process that gets great work out the door. You'll partner with our delivery team on priorities, and set the vision and standards for the department.

You'll stay hands-on too, leading brand, campaign, web, and pitch work.

And you'll help shape how AI fits into our creative work. That means testing tools, deciding where and when they belong, and making sure they improve both the quality of what we make and the team's experience making it.

This is a senior role for someone with a proven track record leading creative in a fast-paced agency.

What you'll do

Lead the department.

  • Manage, mentor, and grow our two full-time creatives. Clear goals, honest feedback, real development.
  • Set the creative vision and the way we work, then champion it across the agency.
  • Build a team people want to be on, and a culture where the bar keeps rising.
  • Bring the creative point of view to leadership conversations about where JumpSeat goes next.

Run the engine.

  • Own capacity planning. Anticipate resourcing needs proactively and balance the load across the team.
  • Know when we need more hands. Find, brief, and manage freelancers who meet our bar and our budget.
  • Partner with the delivery team to set priorities, timelines, and scope.
  • Keep sharpening the creative workflow, from brief to review to client handoff.
  • Be the single point of contact for every creative deliverable. On brand, on time, every time.

Raise the creative bar.

  • Own the quality of everything we make, across every client and channel.
  • Lead brand development work: positioning, messaging, and visual identity.
  • Concept and lead campaigns, ABM programs, and digital advertising.
  • Oversee website design and development.
  • Give clear, useful direction to designers and copywriters.
  • Work closely with our strategy and account teams so creative work serves each client's business goals.
  • Lead the creative side of new business pitches, from concept to presentation.

Shape how we use AI.

  • Experiment with AI tools across ideation, copy, design, and production.
  • Decide where, when, and how AI tools and workflows are adopted in our day-to-day, based on one test: does it make the work better, and the work of making it better?
  • Set practical guardrails for quality, brand fit, and client trust.
  • Help the team build skill and confidence with new tools, and share what works across JumpSeat.

Who you are

  • A Creative Director, ACD, or Head of Creative from a strong agency, who has led a creative team directly.
  • A department builder, not just a project lead. You've owned capacity, resourcing, and process, and you actually enjoy it.
  • A true partner to delivery and account teams. Comfortable trading off priorities, scope, and timelines in the open.
  • Experienced at bringing in and leading freelance talent.
  • A versatile creative across branding, web, campaigns, and digital advertising, who still wants to roll up their sleeves.
  • Quick to understand the unique aspects of a client's industry, culture and voice, so you can hit the ground running.
  • Someone who loves growing people, and builds teams that stick together.
  • Hands-on with AI tools, and clear-eyed about them. You already use them in your creative work, and you have a point of view on where they help and where they get in the way.
  • A clear, confident presenter with existing and new clients.

Nice to have

  • Fluent in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Other design tools are a plus.
  • B2B experience. Helpful, not required.
  • You've led a team through a change in tools or workflows before.

How we'll get to know you

  1. A conversation with our Talent team.
  2. A practical case. You'll present how you'd approach a real-world challenge.
  3. A conversation with senior team members.

What's in it for you

  • Real influence. You'll shape a function at the core of our business, and how it works.
  • Great people. A team that will challenge you, inspire you, and have your back.
  • Remote first. Colleagues across the US and Buenos Aires.
  • Balance, for real. Unlimited PTO, Summer Fridays, time off between holidays, and more.

Ready to take the seat?

If you want to build a creative department, not just fill its pipeline, we want to hear from you.
