Description
Intellect Care (Counselling/ Psychotherapy) is a collaborative process to guide, explore and/or resolve personal, social, or psychological problems and difficulties. Counselling is most useful when clients seek tools or techniques to support their mental health. Psychotherapy identifies unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviours which may limit the client's quality of life or daily activities and equip clients with more helpful and effective ways of thinking, behaving and relating to others. This addresses moderately severe mental health experiences. Intellect Care normally spans up to 60 minutes

Provide evidence-based, developmentally appropriate therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and families, coordinating with an interdisciplinary care team and tailoring treatment to individual clinical and developmental needs.
Provide evidence-based teletherapy to adult clients, manage assessments and ongoing care, use progress data to guide treatment, and collaborate with providers while maintaining timely clinical documentation.
Provide evidence-based therapy and biopsychosocial assessments for people with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions, while coordinating care, managing clinical risk, and supporting recovery.
Provide evidence-based outpatient psychotherapy through a secure telehealth platform, managing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation while tailoring care to each client.
Provide weekly virtual therapy to K–12 students, supporting their mental health and well-being through 45-minute sessions while handling a small share of administrative responsibilities.
