Full job description
Green LED Lighting Solutions (GLLS) designs and manufactures custom LED systems for architectural, signage, entertainment, and pixel lighting projects across North America and the UK. We sell through reps, distributors, lighting designers, architects, sign companies, and OEMs, and most of what we ship is configured to order.
We need one person to own the product line end to end: what we sell, how it is configured and priced, what we build next, and how it gets from a factory drawing to a spec sheet a lighting designer trusts. This is a hands-on seat reporting to the CEO in a lean, AI-leveraged company. You write the specs, build the pricing, and chase the samples yourself.
Product line and roadmap
- Own the full catalog: linear pixel, architectural linear, signage, and entertainment product families
- Build a 12 to 24 month roadmap tied to rep and specifier demand, margin, and supply risk
- Rationalize the line: what to retire, consolidate, or re-source
- Set list and channel pricing and keep price books current for reps and distributors
New product development
- Write product requirements (optical, electrical, mechanical, controls, certification)
- Run development with internal technologists and contract factories from concept to launch
- Manage certification paths (UL/cUL/ETL, DLC where relevant, IP ratings)
- Track cost, landed cost, and lead time, including tariff and country-of-origin exposure
Configuration, data, and documentation
- Own configuration rules in our CPQ so reps can quote configure-to-order products without errors
- Keep item, BOM, and product data clean in Business Central
- Own spec sheets, install guides, IES files, and website product content
Go-to-market
- Launch products with training, sales tools, and pricing for reps and distributors
- Be the product voice with lighting designers and architects on spec-driven projects
- Turn field feedback, warranty data, and quote losses into roadmap decisions
Year one: catalog audit in 30 days, approved roadmap and refreshed price book in 90, first new or revised product family through samples in 6 months, two or more launches shipped in 12.

Not a fit if
- You want to manage a team of PMs rather than do the work
- Your product experience is software only
- You need a mature process and complete data before making a call
- You are not comfortable owning a number and being measured on it
In your application, tell us about one hardware product you took from requirements to launch: what you owned, what went wrong, and what you would do differently.
Benefits
- Base salary: $70,000 to $95,000 USD, full-time employee
- Fully remote within the United States
- Direct line to the CEO and real ownership of the product line
