We have partnered with an established company in Alpharetta seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its accounting and finance team.
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and wants to join an established, service-focused organization.
Responsibilities

Manage key components of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes

Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other general ledger activity

Perform balance sheet and bank account reconciliations

Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and supporting schedules

Review account activity and investigate variances or discrepancies

Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions
-
Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP
-
Assist with external audits and provide requested schedules and documentation
-
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies
-
Partner with accounting leadership and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Assist with additional accounting projects and initiatives as the organization continues to grow
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

4+ years of progressive accounting experience
-
Experience within a service, construction, or related industry is a plus
