📜 Description
- Lead accounting operations across the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and grants administration.
- Oversee financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Direct annual audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Manage banking relationships and treasury activities, and improve finance processes and controls.
- Advise senior leadership, support board reporting, and supervise and develop the accounting team.
🛠️ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA preferred
- 6+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with at least 4 years in a leadership role
- Nonprofit accounting experience preferred, including grants and contract management
- Experience leading audits, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
