- Prepare and review complex tax returns for compliance with regulations.
- Analyze IRS and state tax notices, preparing accurate responses.
- Represent clients in negotiations with tax authorities to resolve issues.
- Conduct technical research to develop compliant responses.
- Identify and apply for penalty abatements and tax relief programs.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support tax resolution strategies.
🛠️ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant tax experience.
- Active CPA or Active Enrolled Agent (EA) credential required.
- Experience with IRS and state tax resolution strongly preferred.
