We're hiring a Software Engineer to join the CB Node team within the Platform organization. This team runs all the blockchain nodes that power every asset Coinbase offers to customers, currently spanning 55 unique protocols across Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, and beyond. You'll contribute to performance optimization and reliability across the blockchain platform stack, diagnosing root causes instead of over-provisioning, reducing infrastructure spend, and building the observability and health-check systems that keep our nodes reliable at scale.

Build and operate distributed systems for real-time blockchain data ingestion, indexing, and querying, owning services end-to-end while improving platform latency, reliability, and cost.
Develop and operate Device Trust authentication services, improving production reliability, observability, and resilience while helping evolve critical systems safely and turning incident learnings into lasting improvements.
Build end-to-end AI observability features, from data ingestion and infrastructure to product visualizations, helping customers understand agent behavior, costs, token usage, errors, and anomalies.
Develop and maintain WEBCON BPS applications for document, approval, and back-office processes, integrating client systems and supporting production stability, testing, and process improvements.
Implement and debug software features and fixes, write tested code, participate in reviews, and collaborate with engineers and test partners while building expertise in production application development.
