- Develop migration strategies and assess PCF applications for readiness and compatibility with Azure AKS.
- Containerize applications and configure Kubernetes deployments using best practices and Helm charts.
- Build deployment automation scripts and pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Implement security, compliance, monitoring, logging, and scaling for migrated applications.
- Document migration processes and collaborate with architecture, development, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
🛠️ Requirements
- 8-10 years of overall experience, including hands-on experience in the last 2 years migrating at least one PCF workload to Azure or AWS.
- Proven experience migrating applications from PCF to Azure AKS.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience managing Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and security; knowledge of Azure networking, including virtual networks, load balancers, firewalls, routing, DNS, WAF, and NAT.
- Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
- Proficiency with Azure AKS, Azure Container Registry, Azure DevOps, and scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security, compliance, monitoring, and CI/CD practices; Terraform or ARM templates experience is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; Azure Administrator Associate or Kubernetes certifications and AWS or Google Cloud experience are preferred.
