- Report and control risk parameters, including prices, volatilities, and correlations.
- Maintain complete and accurate data in the ETRM application and support its functional and technical stability.
- Develop and monitor the Middle Office control framework for Axpo Iberia activities.
- Support analysis of business products and development activities for the Power and Gas Division.
- Assess risk indicators, analyze scenarios, and report risks with the Risk Manager.
- Collaborate with Controlling, Accounting, Front Office, and other departments.

- A Bachelor's or University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- A good understanding of financial markets and commodities
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, committed mindset
- Sound judgement and confident decision-making abilities
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the electricity/gas or financial sector, or within a Big 4 audit firm, along with a Master's or specialized training in Quantitative Finance, Financial Derivatives, or an FRM qualification

Full job description
Join Axpo Iberia and play an active role in strengthening internal controls and risk processes across our Power and Gas activities. A great opportunity to combine analytical thinking with cross-department collaboration.
What you will do:
Report and control risk parameters such as prices, volatilities, and correlations
Ensure the completeness and accuracy of data in the ETRM application, supporting its functional and technical stability
Develop and monitor an adequate Middle Office control framework for Axpo Iberia activities
Support the Risk Manager in applying sound methodologies to analyze business products and define development activities for the Power and Gas Division
Assist the Risk Manager in assessing risk indicators, analyzing scenarios, and reporting risks
Collaborate closely with other departments, including Controlling, Accounting, and Front Office
What you bring & who you are:
A Bachelor's or University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
