📜 Description

  • Own the program cadence connecting Finance, Development, and Operations on every active data center and capacity commitment.
  • Translate capacity plan and cost/margin model inputs into Finance-ready outputs.
  • Build and run the intake, review, and escalation gates for the active project portfolio.
  • Track commitments made in program reviews to closure, flagging deviations and at-risk milestones.

  • Build reporting mechanisms that allow leadership to see risks early.

🛠️ Requirements

  • 8+ years running large-scale technical or infrastructure programs, with direct experience building program process from scratch rather than operating inside an existing PMO.

Benefits

  • Generous base, bonus, and additional incentive-based compensation.
  • Dental
  • Vision coverage for you and your dependents
  • Company-paid life insurance and disability.

Full job description

Built to set the gold standard for integrated AI infrastructure

Crux AI is a newly formed, U.S.-based integrated AI infrastructure company created to remove the physical and operational constraints on consequential AI ambitions. Crux brings together power, high-density data centers, TPU silicon, networking, orchestration software, and ongoing operations as one integrated system.

Crux is being capitalized to plan every layer together, develop each one to demanding standards, and operate the whole system with efficiency and reliability. That gives hyperscalers, frontier AI labs, sovereign customers, enterprises, and AI-native companies greater freedom to pursue the AI they are here to create.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will own the translation layer between Crux's Finance function and its infrastructure delivery pipeline. Reporting to, Crux's Chief Program Manager, you will run the program discipline that keeps a multi-billion-dollar build pipeline legible to Finance, Development, and Operations at once: translating capacity plans, cost and margin models, and deal terms into a common, defensible view that leadership can act on without relitigating every project from scratch. This is a process-from-scratch seat — there is no inherited PMO playbook to run, only the mandate to build one, fast, without adding headcount to compensate for missing rigor.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the program cadence connecting Finance, Development, and Operations on every active data center and capacity commitment — one integrated view of cost, schedule, and deal status, not three disconnected ones.

  • Translate capacity plan of record and cost/margin model of record inputs into Finance-ready outputs, and translate Finance's constraints back into terms Development and Operations can execute against.

  • Build and run the intake, review, and escalation gates for the active project portfolio, so nothing material moves without the right functions weighing in at the right stage.

  • Track commitments made in program reviews to closure — flag deviations, at-risk milestones, and sequencing conflicts before they become delays, not after.

  • Partner directly with Finance's financial modeling team to ensure their models are fed by current, reconciled program data rather than stale inputs.

  • Build the reporting and status mechanisms that let leadership see risk early — a program that surfaces its own bad news is the goal, not the exception.

  • Default to AI-agentic workflows for status tracking, reconciliation, and reporting — this function does not scale by adding coordinators.

SIGNALS OF SUCCESS

After 60 days in this role:

  • Program cadence and escalation gates are stood up and running across at least one active workstream.

  • First integrated Finance/Development/Operations status view is in use, replacing ad hoc updates.

After 6 months:

  • Commitments-to-closure tracking is live across the full active portfolio, with zero silently-dropped action items.

  • Finance is running its models off your reconciled data, not parallel spreadsheets.

After 1 year:

  • The Finance↔Ops translation layer runs as a repeatable system, not a personal effort — positioned to scale as Crux's build pipeline grows.

EXPERIENCES, ATTRIBUTES AND MINDSET THAT INDICATE A GOOD MATCH

Experiences

  • 8+ years running large-scale technical or infrastructure programs, with direct experience building program process from scratch rather than operating inside an existing PMO.

  • Demonstrated fluency translating between Finance and Infrastructure/Operations — you've built the artifacts (models, trackers, gates) that let both sides trust the same numbers.

  • Cloud, data center, or other capital-intensive infrastructure background; comfortable with multi-year, multi-vendor delivery timelines.

Attributes

  • You build the system that makes the next status meeting boring, through discipline, not heroics — you don't paper over a conflict between Finance and Ops, you surface it and help resolve it.

  • You are the honest broker between functions — you hold Finance and Ops to the same numbers and say so when they don't match.

Mindset

  • High tolerance for ambiguity. You design structure where none exists yet, rather than waiting for one to arrive.

  • AI-agentic first. Fluent with AI agents — or committed to becoming so quickly — and you embed them as first principles in how you and your team work, defaulting to agentic workflows before adding headcount or process.

Nice to have (preferred, not required)

  • Experience at a neocloud or hyperscaler (CoreWeave, Nebius, Lambda, Crusoe, Google, AWS, Meta, Microsoft) in a technical program management role spanning Finance and Infrastructure.

  • Exposure to capex/commitment tracking or prepay-style capacity commercial structures.

  • Familiarity with Agile or equivalent program management methodology applied to physical infrastructure delivery, not just software.

  • Formal PMP or equivalent program management credential.
