- Lead ASOS's global privacy and compliance agenda as Data Protection Officer.
- Partner with teams across various functions to navigate complex regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the development and delivery of privacy and compliance frameworks and policies.
- Manage regulatory engagement, audits, and compliance reporting.
- Drive privacy-by-design principles across products and technology.
- Build and develop high-performing teams focused on critical business priorities.
🛠️ Requirements
- Significant experience leading privacy and data protection programmes in a global organization.
- Deep expertise in privacy legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical advice.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience engaging with regulators and leading responses to investigations.
- Knowledge of digital privacy, customer data, and tracking technologies.
- Experience building governance and compliance frameworks.
- Data Privacy certification (IAPP or equivalent) is beneficial.
