Working at Quantexa isn't just intellectually stimulating. We’re a real team. Collaborating and constantly engineering better and better solutions. We’re ambitious, we think things through and we’re on a mission to discover just how far we go. Nearly half of our colleagues come from an ethnic or religious minority background. We’re made up of people from 47 nationalities who speak over 20 languages. As a diverse mix of individuals, we make one big unstoppable team.
If our incredible culture sounds like you, we’d love you to join us.
The opportunity.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution and successful end-to-end delivery of implementation projects to our clients. You will join a wider Delivery team of engineers, analysts, data scientists and architects focused on achieving the best outcomes for our clients.
You will be part of the Project Management practice, a global network of project and programme management professionals within Quantexa, a group designed to support your career development and ensure you fulfil your full potential.
As well as working with some of the largest and most prestigious organisations in the world, you will also be working hand in hand with our delivery partner network, which includes the big four consultancies as well as major systems integrators.
What you’ll be doing.
You will take full ownership of the delivery of Quantexa projects end-to-end, putting your arms around all aspects, actively mitigating risks and issues, driving high standards of quality and best practice and being in full control of the costs, timelines and scope.
You’ll drive successful outcomes - delivering projects in the most optimal way that realise maximum value to our clients.
Managing the commercial and financial aspects of your projects, working with our clients to agree contracts for professional services, using both Time and Materials (T&M) and Fixed Priced constructs.
Coaching and mentoring your technical teams to ensure they have the skills and capabilities necessary to produce high quality deliverables to our clients.
Working and learning with a high degree of autonomy with minimal supervision, seeking and knowing when to engage the rest of the Quantexa organisation for support.
You will devise critical strategies to successfully manage your project stakeholders, both from the client as well as Quantexa leadership.
What you’ll bring.
You are an accomplished project management professional with strong leadership skills and a track record of delivering complex projects with excellent outcomes.
You are an expert on project methodologies and approaches such as Agile, can apply them to maximum effect and you appreciate how these methodologies and approaches can scale to multiple teams and functions.
You have broad stakeholder management experience either as a supplier delivering to clients, such as a consultancy or professional services organisation, or within a client-side environment.
You have experience of delivering large and complex data-driven projects through the full software lifecycle.
You have a good understanding of the technical aspects that impact the project outcomes and can grasp technical issues and devise mitigation strategies to address them.
You have a strong appreciation of the business purpose and drivers of your projects and direct the team to ensure that achieving them is paramount.
You are adept at operating in complex multi-team environments where you harness your skills and knowledge to influence other teams to deliver the best overall outcome.
You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking and the ability to devise delivery solutions to address client challenges.
Exhibit strong technical communication skills with demonstrable experience of working in rapidly changing client environments.
Have an excellent appreciation of what makes a high quality, operationally stable system and how to streamline all areas of development, release, and operations to achieve this.
You are a self-starter and bring a great deal of determination, initiative and tenacity to your projects.
Proficiency in speaking Arabic at a fluent/native level is mandatory.
Comfortable traveling within the UAE and across the Gulf region as required for business needs and client engagements.
