Job Description

We're looking for a commercially-led, people-focused Area Manager to lead our South East area of circa 25 dental practices. The patch covers from Bromley in the north to Eastbourne in the south, and from Deal in the east to Dorking in the west.

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering sustainable business growth and ensuring the highest standards of patient care across the area.

Our Area Managers are accountable for the area's financial performance, maximising revenue and EBITDA through strong operational execution, effective leadership of Practice Managers and their teams, and rigorous cost control. Working in partnership with Clinical leaders and regionally aligned colleagues, they drive performance across all Practices, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes, outstanding patient experiences, high colleague engagement, operational excellence, and achievement of financial and strategic objectives

Key metrics as an Area Manager are:

• EBITDA
• Revenue
• Specific practice-related KPIs
• Colleague engagement
• Compliance & regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Multi-site leadership experience in a customer-facing, commercial environment
• Strong P&L management background
• Ability to understand and interpret data, using it to make decision and drive results 
• Team leadership – motivate and inspire remote teams to deliver their best
• Collaborative working – working with and respecting the expert advice of your business partners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve issues effectively
• Confidence and gravitas to lead, influence and engage with stakeholders
• Adaptable and flexible, managing changing priorities with ease

This role is field-based, with regular travel to the practices across the South East.
