🛠️ Requirements

  • Part-qualified ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • Experience gained within finance, accounting, financial reporting or a related professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, management accounting, statutory reporting, tax and VAT principles.
  • Experience supporting financial reporting, audit activities and accounting operations across multiple entities or jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency in ERP and finance systems, with experience of NavOne, Caseware or similar platforms being beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and provide valuable insights to support business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience collaborating with stakeholders and supporting the development of colleagues.

Job Description

Purpose of the job: 

Take the lead in delivering high-quality financial reporting and accounting operations across a portfolio of international jurisdictions. As a Team Leader within our Global Accounting team, you'll play a key role in supporting business growth by providing financial insights, strengthening controls and ensuring the accurate delivery of accounting, tax and regulatory reporting activities.

Working closely with finance leaders and stakeholders across the Group, you'll combine technical accounting expertise with people leadership, helping to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. Main Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of accounting and financial reporting activities across a designated portfolio of jurisdictions.
  • Deliver accurate and insightful management accounts, financial reporting and performance analysis that support business decision-making.
  • Act as a technical accounting partner, providing guidance on accounting standards, policies and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end reporting activities, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality financial information.
  • Support the preparation and review of statutory accounts, tax reporting and regulatory submissions across multiple entities.
  • Partner with auditors, regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders to support smooth audit and compliance processes.
  • Lead balance sheet reviews, cash flow reporting and financial controls that strengthen the integrity of financial data.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities and efficiencies across finance operations.
  • Coach, support and develop team members, contributing to a culture of learning, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to global finance initiatives, transformation projects and the ongoing centralisation of finance processes.

Qualifications
