Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in IT Asset Management (HAM Pro & SAM Pro), Service Catalog development, workflow automation, and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and support scalable ServiceNow solutions that improve asset lifecycle management, software governance, operational efficiency, and user experience. This role requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, REST APIs, and a solid understanding of ITSM, CMDB, and CSDM concepts. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver who leverages out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities to deliver maintainable and business-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) solutions.
• Configure and optimize hardware and software asset lifecycle processes, including request, fulfillment, deployment, reclamation, refresh, and retirement.
• Support software compliance, normalization, reclamation, SaaS optimization, and asset governance initiatives.
• Develop and maintain Service Catalog Items, Record Producers, approval workflows, and fulfillment processes.
• Build automation solutions using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and ServiceNow platform capabilities.
• Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
• Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, endpoint management tools, and asset repositories.
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer Flows, Scheduled Jobs, and Scripted REST APIs.
• Troubleshoot platform, integration, and automation issues through root cause analysis.
• Support ITSM processes including Incident, Change, Problem, and Request Management.
• Maintain CMDB data quality, asset-to-CI relationships, and support CSDM initiatives.
• Ensure solutions adhere to ServiceNow best practices, governance standards, and technical documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• .8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting IT Asset Management solutions.
• Strong experience with HAM Pro, SAM Pro, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and REST API integrations.
• Extensive experience building Catalog Items, Record Producers, and automated fulfillment workflows.
• Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting expertise.
• Experience with Import Sets, Transform Maps, Data Imports, and workflow automation.
• Good understanding of ITSM processes and service delivery concepts.
• Working knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, CSDM concepts, and Asset-to-CI relationships.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.

Nice to Have

• Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB health initiatives.
• Exposure to SaaS license optimization and software compliance programs.
• Experience working in large enterprise ServiceNow environments.
