Hybrid role - 3 days a week in our Tower Bridge office

Who We Are

Zoopla is one of the UK’s most instantly recognisable property brands. In fact, we’re known and loved by over 91% of the nation (and we’re working hard on the other 9%). Our mission is to help the nation make better home decisions - by connecting everyone to their home and giving them personalised insights to help with moving, managing or financing. Over 50 million people visit Zoopla every month to access exclusive data and information on every UK property, search over 500,000 homes for sale and rent, find the best agents and secure the latest mortgage deals.

We’re a growing, dynamic team that embraces innovation and isn’t afraid to push the boundaries. We’re only just starting our journey to redefine the digital property landscape, with much more to explore and achieve. Join us, and transform the way the nation makes home decisions.

What you'll be doing

As the Product Marketing Manager for Consumer at Zoopla, you will sit within the Marketing team and be dedicated to maximising consumer retention, engagement and growth across our search, MyHome and valuation section of our website. You will be both embedded in the cross functional product and marketing teams across our consumer product teams, whilst being one of the marketing managers in the marketing team.

You will be the Marketing Subject Matter Expert for the consumer journey, acting as the crucial interface between the Marketing and Product teams to grow our high-intent audiences, through MyHome users, registrations and app users.

Your core purpose is two-fold: to represent the marketing function, strategy, and capability in Product meetings, and to strategically manage coordinated marketing activities (CRM, Content, Organic Performance, Performance, etc.) that influence the consumers journey.

Your ultimate goal is to optimise the consumer path to maximise high-value search and seller leads delivered to our estate agent customers and service partners. This is achieved by boosting vital metrics like MyHome sign-ups, feature adoption, agent instruction requests, and registered users.

Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas:

1. Consumer Marketing Strategy & Representation

  • Lifecycle Mapping & Strategy: Define, map, and own the consumer journey from a user’s initial interaction (claiming a home, searching for a property) through to the final instruction of an agent or the purchase of a property.
  • Marketing-Product Liaison: Act as the dedicated Marketing representative in product development and roadmap meetings for the consumer product areas, ensuring marketing requirements, capabilities, and dependencies are clearly understood and integrated early.
  • Value Messaging: Develop and cascade compelling, consumer-centric messaging that articulates the holistic value of Zoopla's tools to drive high-value user action (e.g., saving a search, setting up an alert, claiming their home, booking a valuation, using Find an Agent, engaging with mortgage advice/conveyancing quotes).

2. Cross-Channel Project Management & Execution

  • Integrated Campaign Management: Serve as the marketing lead for all marketing strands impacting the full journey, coordinating and aligning efforts across:
    • CRM/ECRM: Optimizing automated communications to nurture homeowners or users, driving them to agent comparison tools but also to Moving Services at key moments (e.g., post-valuation, pre-listing).
    • Content: Briefing the content team on required assets (guides, articles) to support feature adoption and Organic Performance (SEO) for high-intent queries (e.g., "how to find a conveyancer," "best mortgage rates for home movers").
    • Performance Marketing: Ensuring campaigns for both seller and buyer have optimized messaging and handover points.
  • Conversion Optimisation & Hand-offs: Work with data and product teams to identify and execute on opportunities to improve core marketing KPIs like MyHome sign-up rates and optimising the transition/lead quality between the property process and moving services partners.
  • Launch Readiness: Ensure all marketing touchpoints and channels are prepared and aligned to deliver a successful Go-To-Market (GTM) for any new feature release within the consumer experience.

3. Performance & Retention Focus

  • KPI Ownership & Reporting: Own the marketing-related performance metrics for the consumer areas, including weekly/monthly reporting on core KPIs.
  • Insight Translation: Continuously analyze the performance of marketing activities within the full lifecycle and translate these findings into actionable insights for the wider Marketing team to optimize current campaigns and drive both seller and buyer leads.
  • Competitive Marketing Landscape: Monitor competitor marketing tactics and consumer messaging specifically related to home valuation, agent selection, and property buying to identify opportunities for Zoopla to gain an edge.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • High-Value Leads (delivered to agent customers)
  • Moving Services Lead/Conversion Volume (e.g., Mortgage Appointment Booked, Conveyancing Quote Requested)
  • MyHome (Active Homeowner) Sign-up Volume
  • Agent Valuation Request/Find an Agent Comparison Volume
  • Homeowner Feature Adoption & Retention Metrics

Core Competencies for Success:

  • Proven experience in a B2C Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Product Marketing role, with a clear focus on the consumer journey.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project managing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (CRM, SEO, Paid, Content).
  • Highly analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities against defined KPIs.
  • Strong experience working as a dedicated marketing representative with Product and Technology teams to influence outcomes.
  • Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills, with a track record of driving results without direct line management authority.
  • A customer-first mindset and a passion for creating impactful consumer experiences.

Where you’ll be

At Zoopla, we embrace hybrid working but emphasise the importance of also spending time together. You’ll have the opportunity to work remotely (at home) for two days per week with Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays as all-Zoopla days in the office together.

Our home in Tower Bridge is a buzzing hub for collaborative and individual working, with areas to socialise and exercise - within easy reach of London Bridge, Tower Hill and Bermondsey stations. On our doorstep there are plenty of great food spots including a new indoor street food market and landscaped areas to sit by the riverside.

Benefits

  • Our hybrid setup means you’ll join us in the Tower Bridge office 3 days each week
  • 25 days annual leave + additional leave benefits Including extra days for length of service, plus other leave perks
  • Cycle to work and electric car schemes
  • Free Calm App membership
  • Enhanced Parental leave
  • Fertility Treatment Financial Support
  • Group Income Protection and private medical insurance
  • Gym on-site in London
  • 7.5% pension contribution by the company
  • Discretionary annual bonus up to 10% of base salary
