- Ensure reliable operation of geo-distributed infrastructure.
- Maintain and configure network equipment, bare-metal servers, and NAS.
- Maintain and configure VMware virtualization systems.
- Administer Linux servers and monitor services, resolving issues promptly.
- Automate administrative tasks and contribute to infrastructure improvements.
- Collaborate with developers, database administrators, DevOps engineers, and architects.
🛠️ Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge of configuring and operating active network equipment: switches, routers, firewalls
- Strong knowledge of network technologies: VLAN, STP, static routing, PBR, OSPF, BGP, ACL, IPSEC, OpenVPN, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with VMWare: vCenter, vSAN, Distributed Switch, HA
- Working knowledge of HP/Dell servers and storage systems
- Experience in the administration of Debian/Ubuntu family Linux
- Experience in the administration of monitoring systems, logging, and collection of metrics
- Intermediate or higher level of spoken and technical English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
