- Support the development and execution of system verification and validation plans for the satellite constellation.
- Coordinate work between the CSV team, Space Segment team, and functional groups.
- Develop verification plans for System Acceptance testing and Satellite In-Orbit-Testing.
- Maintain Space Segment verification strategy, matrices, and test procedures.
- Synchronize deployment tasks to ensure readiness of hardware, software, and documentation.
🛠️ Requirements
- BSc/BEng or Master’s, Satellite Systems, Aerospace, Electrical/RF, or Computer Engineering or a related field
- 6–10 years in requirements-based testing/verification for complex Aerospace or Satellite Telecommunication systems.
- Proficiency in Project Management, configuration control, Production and system Quality Control, non-conformance management, and system engineering verification protocol
- Experience in performing Satellite integration and test activities, using Electrical and RF test systems
- Experience in Satellite Platform and Payload In-orbit-testing
- System Engineering Design, development and deployment of Satellite systems
- Project or Program Management (PMP) experience of managing complex technical systems and organizing multi-disciplinary technical teams

Role Overview:
The System Verification Engineering Specialist for Space Segment will be supporting the development and execution of key system verification and validation plans as part of the overall Satellite constellation “Integration, Verification and Validation” (IVV) Strategy of the Telesat LEO constellation Network.
The System Verification Engineering Specialist – Space Segment will report to the Director of Constellation System Verification (CSV).
They will help to coordinate work between the CSV team, the Space Segment team and functional groups for the Telesat Lightspeed LEO constellation, ensuring the system is ready for deployment, Network Over-The-Air testing (OTA), and System end-to-end acceptance testing.
