Rechat is the operating system for real estate. Marketing, CRM, transactions, listings and AI in a single product, replacing the disconnected stack of tools most agents are forced to stitch together.
Some of the largest brokerages and networks in North America run their business on us, and tens of thousands of agents use Rechat every week. We have spent the last two years rebuilding the product to be AI-native, and we are growing quickly.

The Role
Tens of thousands of agents use Rechat. Their brokerage pays for their seat, and for most of them that is the entire commercial relationship we have with them.
We also build the premium products those same agents want: websites, AI-driven marketing, advertising and social. Those are worth many multiples of a seat, and almost none of our agents buy them today.
There is a second problem sitting next to the first. An agent cannot currently find Rechat, sign up, try it and start paying us on their own. There is no door. Every path in runs through a brokerage contract or a conversation with a person.
You are here to build both: the door, and the upgrade path behind it.
Any agent, anywhere, should be able to discover Rechat, sign up alone, reach something valuable quickly, and become a paying customer without ever speaking to us. And every agent already using Rechat should have an obvious, well-designed reason to pay us more.
Your remit is conversion, wherever it happens. Our demand team drives attention and traffic. From the moment an agent shows interest, it is yours: the landing page, the signup, the trial, the first valuable moment, the upgrade, the checkout. You own the percentage at every one of those steps.
And your other job is time to value. Every setup step between signing up and getting something useful costs us a percentage of the agents who signed up. Uploading a logo, choosing colours, configuring templates, importing contacts. Your job is to delete as many of those steps as possible, and to make the ones that remain fast enough that nobody abandons. An agent should reach something they would be sad to lose within their first session, not their first month.
Those two things, conversion and time to value, are what you are here to move. Everything below is in service of them.
That includes reaching agents proactively rather than waiting for them to log in. We have an AI assistant in the product, and one of the most interesting questions in this role is how much of the buying journey it can carry on its own.
This is the largest revenue opportunity in the company and nobody owns it today.
What You'll Own:
- Touchless signup. Self-serve onboarding, trial mechanics, and the path from trial to paid. Engineers are working on this now and they need a product owner.
- The conversion path outside the app. Pricing pages, plan comparison, signup and trial-start pages, and the experiments that improve them. Our demand team buys the traffic and runs campaign pages. You own the pages where interest turns into an account.
- Checkout and billing. Card on file, self-serve purchase, upgrades, downgrades, failed payment recovery. Some of this does not exist yet and you will specify it.
- The in-product upgrade path. Who sees a prompt, where in their workflow, what it says, what happens when they click, and how much completes without a human.
- Seat-to-paid conversion. Turning agents on a brokerage-paid seat into agents paying us directly.
- Proactive outreach that converts. Anything triggered by product behaviour: a trial ending, a limit reached, a feature explored, an account gone quiet. In-app, push, and behaviour-triggered email and SMS, including what our AI assistant does on its own initiative. Our demand team owns marketing and nurture campaigns; you own everything the product sends because of what someone did or stopped doing.
- Reactivation. A large number of agents have access and are not using it, and you cannot sell to someone who never logs in. You own the loop: which dormant agents we pursue, what triggers the attempt, what they land on, and whether it worked.
- Branded acquisition experiences. Agents identify with their brokerage brand long before they identify with ours. We want branded landing and signup experiences for the franchises and brokerages whose agents we are going after, built as a repeatable system rather than as bespoke projects, so launching a new brand takes hours and not weeks.
- Brand-aware onboarding. An agent signing up should be able to select their brokerage and have the product configure itself around that brand immediately, with the right assets, templates and defaults already in place. Every setup step between signup and first value costs us signups, and this removes most of them. It shares a brand asset library with the acquisition experiences above.
- Activation and time to value. Getting a new agent to something valuable in minutes rather than days. Smart defaults, imported and detected configuration, guided first sessions, and removing every step that can be removed. Something bought and then abandoned churns, and the first two weeks decide the next twelve months.
- Pricing and packaging. Tiers, trials, bundles, and the experiments that tell us what an agent will actually pay. You will run price tests on a live base, including increases.
- The measurement underneath all of it. Event instrumentation, funnels, cohorts, and experiments that hold up.
Your numbers: conversion at every step of the funnel, time to first value, attach rate (paying agents as a share of addressable agents), and revenue per agent.
You will not carry a feature roadmap. You will carry percentages.
What This Role Is Not:
We are being explicit because these jobs get confused and we are hiring for exactly one of them.
- Not product marketing. You will not own positioning, messaging, competitive narrative, launch plans or sales collateral.
- Not demand generation. You will not buy media, run ad accounts, manage campaign budgets or own brand campaigns. Our demand team drives attention. You convert it. You will make their spend go further by raising conversion, but the budget belongs to them.
- Not enterprise sales support. Anything requiring a contract to be opened or a human to negotiate sits elsewhere. Your buyer is an individual agent paying with their own card.
What You Bring:
Be prepared to walk us through each of these in detail.
- You have owned a conversion or monetization metric as your primary KPI for at least two years. The number your performance was judged on, not one input among several.
- You have launched or rebuilt a self-serve signup and checkout flow, including trial mechanics and what happens when a card fails.
- You have shipped a live monetization surface. A paywall, an upgrade prompt, an in-product trial, a plan comparison page. Something real users hit and that you measured.
- You have run a pricing or packaging change on an existing customer base. Ideally an increase, because that is the harder one and it teaches you the most.
- You have built a reactivation or lifecycle program that brought dormant users back and converted some of them.
- You have owned landing page and signup conversion, with a real testing programme behind it rather than occasional redesigns.
- You have instrumented a funnel from scratch. Defined the events yourself, got engineers to fire them correctly, built the analysis. Not read someone else's dashboard.
- You have run an experimentation program where you chose what to test, sized the sample properly, and killed what did not work.
- You have moved an activation or time-to-value metric and can show the retention effect. Templated setup, smart defaults, imported or detected configuration, anything that removed steps between signup and first value.
- You have worked at a low monthly price point, selling to individuals or small businesses. Website builders, creative tools, SMB vertical software, marketplaces, or consumer subscription products with real upgrade mechanics.
You do not need real estate experience and we are not weighting it. We would rather hire someone who has run this playbook elsewhere and let them learn our industry, which takes about a quarter.
