The purpose of this role is to assess and drive improvements in the performance of Primark’s supply chains and supplier relationships, in line with the Primark Ethical Trade Code of Conduct.

Job Description

What You’ll Do as an Ethical Trade Executive, Monitoring 

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:  

  • Contribute to the implementation and ongoing development of Primark’s Ethical Trade strategy, including SOPs and ways of working
  • Monitor working conditions in new and existing factories, including audit follow-up and remediation of non-compliances
  • Support the new factory approval process, including supplier engagement, audit coordination, and documentation management
  • Provide guidance and support to suppliers, factories, and workers throughout approval and continuous improvement processes
  • Communicate Primark’s ethical trading requirements clearly across the supply base
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to enable sharing of best practices and continuous improvement
  • Identify, analyse, and proactively report risks to the business
