Are you ready to discover the role of a Technical Project Manager in Netcompany?

We are looking for a technically strong Project Manager to support the development and delivery of European digital identity solutions in a complex, regulated environment. The role combines technical project management, digital identity expertise and EU policy experience, requiring someone who can effectively connect technical, policy and business stakeholders.

Please note that once a month travel to Luxembourg is required.

As a Technical Project Manager you will:

• Lead and coordinate technical projects related to digital identity, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, quality and governance requirements.
• Translate business, policy and regulatory requirements into clear technical objectives and project deliverables.
• Coordinate technical teams, EU stakeholders, external suppliers and other partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the design, implementation and evolution of digital identity solutions, including identity and access management, trust services and digital/verifiable credentials.
• Review technical specifications and implementation proposals, challenge design and implementation choices, and assess associated risks and dependencies.
• Monitor and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes, escalating matters with legal, policy, security or cross-border implications when appropriate.
• Support formal EU governance processes, including project documentation, steering committees, deliverable reviews and acceptance procedures.
• Communicate complex technical and regulatory topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, supporting informed decision-making across different stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• University degree in a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in technical project management, digital identity or a closely related technical domain.
• Hands-on technical experience in digital identity, IAM, PKI, trust services, digital/verifiable credentials or cybersecurity infrastructure. Experience with secure data exchange, e-government or other regulated IT environments is also relevant.
• Working knowledge of the EU digital identity framework, including eIDAS and the EU Digital Identity Wallet; familiarity with Verifiable Credentials, OpenID4VC/VP, electronic attestations of attributes and trust models is an advantage.
• Professional experience working with EU or national policy-making and governance processes, including legislation, implementing/delegated acts, expert groups, formal governance or compliance-driven IT projects.
• Ability to bridge technical and policy perspectives, understanding the regulatory, data protection, security, procurement and cross-border implications of technical decisions.
• Professional certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
• Excellent command of English both written and spoken, knowledge of French would be an advantage.
