Full job description

About your role πŸ‘€

We're looking for an Insights Consultant to help us run research studies for some of the world's largest consumer brands using the Pogo Platform. You'll manage multiple studies at once, working directly with clients to deliver high-quality research quickly and reliably. Specifically, you will:

  • Own the day-to-day operations of client research studies. Keep track of what's coming in, what's in progress, and what needs attention.

  • Help clients turn their research questions into well-designed studies. You'll write and review study guides, configure studies in our platform, set up targeting and quotas, and launch them to Pogo users.

  • Make sure our research is high quality. You'll review survey logic, monitor fieldwork and data quality, and check that our AI-generated insights actually make sense.

  • Work directly with clients to keep them updated on their studies, answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and manage expectations.

  • Work closely with our GTM and Product teams to help coordinate requests, share client feedback, and identify opportunities to improve our product.

  • Help us build better processes. We're growing quickly, and a lot of our workflows are still being figured out. You'll help us improve our tools, templates, QA processes, and AI-powered workflows so we can scale.

About you πŸ‘©β€πŸš€

  • You have 3–5 years of experience in market research, ideally at a research agency, panel provider, or in-house consumer insights team.

  • You've designed, programmed, and fielded surveys using tools like Qualtrics. You know what it takes to get a study from questionnaire to final results.

  • You're comfortable managing a lot of studies at once. You can stay organized, keep track of the details, and prioritize when everything feels urgent.

  • You're familiar with different research methodologies, such as concept testing, pricing research, conjoint, and MaxDiff, and are excited to learn new ones.

  • You're detail-oriented, catching issues with survey design, logic, and data quality before they become problems.

  • You're proactive, resourceful, and comfortable figuring things out independently.

  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly as priorities change.

  • You're systems-minded, always looking for ways to improve processes, automate repetitive work, and make things more efficient.

  • You're passionate about consumer research and excited about how technology and AI can change the industry.

  • You're low ego, high ownership, and easy to work with.

  • Bonus: You've worked with clients in CPG, food & beverage, hospitality, or wellness.

Why you might be excited about this opportunity πŸ™Œ

  • You'll work with some of the world's largest consumer brands, helping them make important strategic decisions through consumer research.

  • You’ll help build the future of market research. If you’ve spent years in traditional survey workflows, this is your chance to help define what research operations and products look like when AI is built in from the start.

  • We're a small, fast-growing team, so you'll have real ownership over how we operate. You'll help build the processes, tools, and workflows that allow us to scale research delivery.

Why you might not be excited about us πŸ‘Ž

  • We're a small team, and you won't always have someone telling you exactly what to do. You'll need to be comfortable figuring things out yourself.

  • Our client base and usage are growing quickly. Expect to manage multiple studies simultaneously, each with its own timeline and stakeholders. If you prefer focusing on one project at a time, this role may not be the right fit.

  • We expect more than 9 to 5 β€” raw hours make an impact at our current stage. That said, we trust each team member to create a flexible work schedule that allows them to be most productive while accommodating other priorities outside of work. We also strongly encourage time off to recharge the batteries: in addition to unlimited PTO, we've implemented a minimum 20 days vacation policy 🌴
