It offers the opportunity to shape a unified marketing measurement framework while building a high-performing analytical team in a fast-growing technology environment.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and develop a team of 5 Decision Scientists and Marketing Analysts, setting clear expectations, supporting professional growth, managing performance, and maintaining a high quality standard across team deliverables.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of paid marketing analytics workstreams, including channel-level goal-setting, pacing, incrementality testing, acquisition and retention analysis, and retailer marketing measurement.
- Lead the team's contribution to a unified marketing measurement framework encompassing Media Mix Modeling, incrementality testing, Lifetime Value, and multi-touch attribution.
- Coordinate Media Mix Modeling inputs, incrementality testing programs, and measurement reporting to create a consistent view of marketing impact.
- Lead re-goaling, rebasing, and scenario modeling exercises that inform marketing budget allocation and investment decisions.
- Serve as the primary analytical partner to senior marketing leadership and Finance, independently managing relationships and representing the Marketing Decision Science function in business reviews, strategy reviews, and pacing meetings.
- Define and drive the Marketing Decision Science roadmap in partnership with the Director, translating business priorities into sequenced analytical initiatives and investments.
- Partner with Marketing Data Science teams on measurement architecture, Lifetime Value modeling, and analytical infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities to improve analytical self-service, automation, and tooling while reducing recurring reporting requirements.
- Proactively plan team capacity and coverage, including periods of reduced availability, to maintain consistent support for business stakeholders.

- 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or another quantitative discipline, including at least 3 years of direct management experience leading teams of analysts or Decision Scientists.
- Deep expertise in paid marketing measurement, including incrementality testing, Media Mix Modeling, attribution, Lifetime Value-based optimization, and channel-level performance analytics.
- Strong SQL and data fluency, with the ability to work directly with data, validate analytical approaches, and pressure-test team output.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage senior cross-functional relationships and represent an analytics or data science function in leadership forums without requiring escalation.
- Proven ability to translate complex quantitative analysis into clear investment recommendations and business insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing and developing Decision Scientists or Marketing Analysts, with a strong focus on analytical quality, professional growth, and constructive feedback.
- Experience in a consumer-facing marketplace or high-growth technology environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with geo-experimentation, Bayesian methodologies, or causal inference frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with Lifetime Value-based media optimization and marketing budget allocation modeling is preferred.
- Background in building or transforming channel-level reporting and pacing infrastructure is an advantage.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and people leadership skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with complex, evolving priorities and a high degree of cross-functional collaboration.
- Base pay range of $198,000–$209,000 CAD for successful candidates based in Canada.
- Eligibility for a new-hire equity grant and annual equity refresh grants.
- Remote-first flexibility, allowing employees to work from home, an office, or another suitable location while participating in regular in-person team and community events.
- Current hiring eligibility is limited to Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia.
- Market-competitive compensation and benefits based on the employee's permanent work location.
