This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a HRIS Manager based in the United States.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical HR technology function within a global, collaborative organization. You’ll serve as the functional expert for the HRIS platform, ensuring reliable systems, accurate data, strong security, and effective HR processes. Working across Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition, and other teams, you’ll translate business needs into practical technology solutions. The role combines hands-on system administration with reporting, analytics, project leadership, and continuous improvement. You’ll have a direct impact on the employee experience by making HR systems easier, more efficient, and more reliable to use. This position is well suited to an experienced HRIS professional who enjoys solving complex problems, managing multiple priorities, and improving systems in a global environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Administer, configure, maintain, and optimize the HRIS platform, ensuring strong system performance, reliability, security, and data integrity.
  • Act as the primary functional subject matter expert for HRIS, providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and recommendations to HR and business stakeholders.
  • Configure and maintain HRIS business processes, organizational structures, security roles, system settings, and core HCM functionality.
  • Plan, test, and implement system releases, configuration changes, integrations, and approved enhancements.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute reports, dashboards, and HR analytics supporting operational, compliance, and business decision-making.
  • Maintain data governance through audits, validation processes, security administration, documentation, and controls that protect sensitive information.
  • Create and maintain documentation covering system configurations, business processes, and standard operating procedures to support consistency and business continuity.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues, and deliver system improvements.
  • Manage relationships with HRIS vendors and service providers, including issue resolution, enhancements, contract renewals, and invoice coordination.
  • Provide end-user support and training while developing resources that encourage effective HRIS adoption and a positive user experience.
  • Lead HRIS projects from planning through implementation, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and improve HR processes through effective use of HRIS functionality and technology capabilities.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • At least 5 years of HRIS experience, including system administration and user support.
    • Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining HRIS business processes, security, reporting, and core HCM functionality.
    • Proven experience developing reports, dashboards, and HR analytics.
    • Experience supporting system releases, testing, configuration changes, and system enhancements.
    • Strong understanding of HR processes, HR data, and data governance principles.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical system solutions.
    • Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements, system configurations, and technology solutions.
    • Highly collaborative and consultative approach, with strong relationship-building skills across technical and non-technical teams.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts, system impacts, risks, and recommendations clearly.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, system integrity, confidentiality, and quality.
    • Ability to work independently while proactively communicating progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
    • Customer-service mindset with a responsive, solutions-oriented approach to supporting HRIS users.
    • Sound judgment and discretion when working with sensitive and confidential information.

    • Experience with HRIS integrations is preferred.

    • Knowledge of process improvement principles such as Six Sigma is a plus.

      • Annual U.S. salary range of $101,000–$129,000, with compensation based on primary work location, role scope, market data, and internal equity.
