  • About FinStrat
Full job description

About FinStrat

FinStrat helps founders and investors build the financial and operational infrastructure they need to grow. Our services include CFO-led finance and accounting, go-to-market, recruiting, HR, legal, fund administration, and reporting, and we support clients across the full journey from founder to family office.

About the role

We're looking for a hands-on Brand & Content Manager to own how FinStrat's story is told and to make sure it reaches the right people. You'll turn the expertise of our leadership and subject-matter experts into clear, credible materials for founders, investors, family offices, and partners. Then you'll get those materials into the right hands, across our website, social channels, and partner networks, and keep them current.

This is a big role, and we know it. It's built as a stretch opportunity for someone early in their career who wants real ownership quickly, with direct mentorship from our VP of Brand & Partnerships and visibility with our CEO. You won't be doing it alone: you'll have design and development partners, contractor support, and leadership invested in your growth.

You'll own important work from your first weeks. You'll project manage the final stages of our brand identity and positioning renewal, keeping it on schedule and moving through leadership review, and manage production of our client-facing and internal brand assets. That work sets up our Q1 2027 priority: launching a new FinStrat website and rolling out our refreshed positioning across everything that follows.

This is primarily a writing and editorial role. We strongly prefer candidates who also bring hands-on design experience and have managed contractors. You'll work closely with designers rather than produce every asset yourself, but you'll need a strong visual eye and a willingness to jump in when a layout needs help.

What success looks like

In your first 90 days, you'll have brought the brand identity and positioning renewal through final leadership approval, built a working content and social calendar, and set up a single source of truth for approved copy and assets. You'll also have a content plan for the new website, including what gets rewritten, migrated, or retired.

By six months, the new FinStrat website will be live with your copy and content migration behind it. Our refreshed positioning will show up consistently across the site, sales materials, social, and partner channels, and you'll be using engagement data and team feedback to decide what to make next.

What you'll do

  • Lead the content workstream for our Q1 2027 website launch, including site messaging, page copy, and the migration or retirement of existing content, in partnership with designers, developers, and leadership.
  • Help develop and roll out FinStrat's updated brand positioning, then keep our voice and messaging consistent across every channel.
  • Write and edit decks, one-pagers, website copy, case studies, thought leadership, email, and program communications.
  • Own FinStrat's social media content calendar, including planning, writing, and producing posts and their associated graphics, videos, and other assets.
  • Run assets end to end: brief, draft, expert review, design, approval, publication, and ongoing updates.
  • Build and run the broader distribution calendar, adapting content for the website, email, social, events, partner channels, and sales outreach.
  • Partner with sales and client-facing teams to find content gaps and create materials that answer real prospect questions.
  • Make sure our content is easy to find and cite in both traditional search and AI-powered answer tools, so prospects encounter FinStrat wherever they look for answers.
  • Maintain a single source of truth for approved copy and assets, including owners, versions, and review dates. Retire what's outdated.
  • Brief designers and contractors, give clear creative feedback, and refine layouts yourself when needed.
  • Track what's working through engagement data and team feedback, and use it to shape what comes next.

What you bring

  • 2–4 years in B2B marketing or content, or founder-facing experience as a VC associate, accelerator or program manager, or startup marketing operator. We care more about your work and hustle than your previous title.
  • Strong writing and editorial judgment, with examples of making complex ideas clear for a specific audience.
  • A track record of coordinating multiple stakeholders and taking projects from concept through publication.
  • A real understanding of founders, investors, family offices, and the conversations that connect them.
  • Comfort using AI tools to research, draft, and repurpose content faster, paired with the judgment to make the final product sound human and accurate.
  • Growth mindset: you want a role you can grow into and a career you can build. We invest in professional development and give emerging leaders room to own real work.

Strongly preferred

  • Hands-on design support, such as improving presentation layouts, preparing production files, or working in Figma or Canva.
  • Experience managing freelance or contract creative talent.

Nice to have

  • Experience running a B2B social media calendar, especially on LinkedIn.
  • Experience contributing to a website launch or rebrand.
  • An eye for typography, hierarchy, and the details that make a finished piece excellent.
  • Working proficiency in Spanish.

Compensation & benefits

  • Compensation commensurate with experience
  • Unlimited vacation
  • Ongoing education and training
  • Bonuses

    How to apply
