Full job description
About Evervault
Evervault offers modular payments infrastructure for companies building their own payments stack. We keep raw card data off your systems, cut PCI compliance work, improve acceptance, mitigate fraud and chargebacks and decrease your cost of payments, so you keep full control. Trusted by Ramp, Rippling, Modern Treasury and Overwolf; Series B, led by Ribbit Capital.
Role Overview
Traditional BDR tactics are broken. We need someone who can engage CTOs, CPOs, VPs of Product and Engineering, and founders at 100–5,000 person companies at their moments of real need, through strategic timing and thoughtful outreach rather than generic cold emails. You’ll report to our VP of Revenue and hand qualified opportunities to our Account Executives. Success looks like 16 qualified opportunities per quarter.
What You’ll Be Doing
Tracking the signals that create a need for card infrastructure: adding a second PSP, expanding into new geographies, launching card issuing or embedded payments, or facing a PCI DSS audit
Mapping a target account’s payment stack (processors, vault, checkout, 3DS provider) to pinpoint where they’re feeling pain
Running outreach by call, email, LinkedIn and warm intros, tied to outcomes buyers care about: less PCI burden, routing freely across processors, higher auth rates, lower fraud
Running consistent cold-call blocks into target accounts
Turning fintech and founder/CTO events and communities into pipeline
Working with VCs, PSPs and partners to source warm introductions
Qualifying opportunities and handing them to AEs with clear context on the prospect’s stack, pain and why now
Requirements
1–2 years of BDR or SDR experience, ideally selling an API-based product to technical buyers
A track record of research-heavy, personalised outreach over high-volume activity

This Might Not Be for You If…
You prefer high-volume sequences: we want fewer, better-researched conversations
You’d rather avoid the phone: cold calling technical buyers is a core part of the job
You don’t want to learn the technical side: you’ll need to hold credible first conversations about card payments with CTOs
