We are recruiting for our new Mexico City Office where you'll be joining a new team. Consultants based in Mexico City will support clients in North America with opportunity to travel globally. Our consultants provide flexible support to clients whether it is a rapid assessment, short term savings realisation or embedding in a long-term partnership to deliver lasting and measurable value to clients.

Due to the expansion into Latin/South America and projected growth in the US, we currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated IT professional with strong technical knowledge and a proven track record of working effectively in the region, understanding, and navigating the cultural environment, whilst helping to drive and mature our IT infrastructure and IT support in the region.

The focus of the role is to support, improve and maintain the IT systems and processes that are key to the effective operation of Efficio staff in the region and if required, across other regions and sites. Following the structure, policies and process set out by the IT Director and management team.

To ensure the availability and security of all systems supporting the wider organisation as required to support Efficio in line with the IT and business strategy and objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with suppliers to support our technical supply chain in the region

  • Ownership of key infrastructure (i.e. Airtime agreements, cloud services, core network)

  • Respond to and diagnose networking issues with either the office network or employee machines

  • Respond to and diagnose major incidents and any escalated issues

  • Lead internal technical projects through its complete lifecycle (inception to delivery)

  • Ensure and help maintain security of data and network access

Job Requirements

  • To help deploy and maintain Efficio assets across the network

  • Provide local and remote IT support to user base – as required, where appropriate

  • Maintain/adhere to policies, standards, and procedures – where appropriate suggest/advise changes/amendments

Key Competencies

  • MS Office 365 suite administration

  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune

  • Azure Active Directory

  • Azure Services

  • SharePoint Subscription Edition (preferable)

  • Jira & Confluence (preferable)

  • Proven working experience in enterprise/professional environment

  • Engaging, exceptional comms – verbal and written

  • Excellent Customer Service/Client-facing skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills – creative, out of the box thinking

  • Proven troubleshooting experience – hardware/software issues

Desired experience

  • IT or Business-related degree or equivalent

  • Relevant technical qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience within a hands-on technical role

  • Ideally worked within a service delivery environment

  • Confident hands-on approach to IT Services good communication skills both written and oral

  • High level of commitment with a flexible, ‘can do, will do’ approach

  • Team player

  • Spanish speaker
