Full job description

CarepathRx is seeking a seasoned ambulatory infusion expert to serve as a dynamic leader across our internal operations, our client success team, and our partner organizations. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between health system executive leadership and operational execution, taking ownership of the overarching health and growth of a portfolio of strategic accounts.

You will establish structured review frameworks and ensure seamless alignment between partner goals and internal capabilities. As the leader of a multidisciplinary client success team, you will guide your staff in diagnosing complex challenges, educating health system leaders on the ambulatory and home infusion landscape, and advising them on how to leverage these programs to elevate patient outcomes and drive sustainable financial performance.

Beyond day-to-day leadership, this position plays a vital role in shaping the future strategy of CarepathRx, utilizing your deep subject matter expertise to advance our organizational capabilities, drive innovation, and define the long-term strategic vision for both our company and our enterprise partners.

What you'll do to make a difference:

Strategic Account & Team Leadership

  • Strategic Account Management: Oversee a portfolio of enterprise-level health system accounts. Establish and manage structured tracking and regular review frameworks to monitor account health, drive continuous growth, and ensure alignment with clients' long-term strategic goals.
  • Lead the Client Success Team: Direct, mentor, and align a multi-disciplinary client success team. Ensure the team is fully equipped with the strategic direction, operational tools, and technical access required to execute deliverables and exceed client expectations.
  • Act as the Strategic Liaison: Serve as the primary executive-level bridge between client leadership and internal operations, building strong, trusting partnerships to drive the successful launch, expansion, and retention of their ambulatory and home infusion businesses.

Infusion Business Development & Operations

  • Build and Optimize Infusion Businesses: Consult with clients to design, implement, and optimize their ambulatory infusion programs. Assess current workflows, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement highly scalable, effective solutions.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise: Offer deep, specialized knowledge focused on home infusion therapy, ambulatory infusion strategy, specialty pharmacy integration, infusion supply chain, cleanroom/compounding operations, and infusion revenue cycle management.
  • Oversee Project Delivery & Implementation: Provide comprehensive on-site and remote support to guide complex infusion engagements. Oversee day-to-day project delivery across your team, ensuring proper planning, resource allocation, and timely achievement of objectives.
  • Align Operations and Expectations: Proactively troubleshoot clinical and operational challenges, develop alternative strategies, and execute plans that successfully align client business goals with operational realities and regulatory compliance.
  • Advance Practice Standards: Serve as a key player in developing future internal strategy and actively participate in key client executive engagements. Contribute to the continuous improvement of CarepathRx’s infusion consulting capabilities by developing standard policies, procedures, organizational reporting models, and implementation playbooks.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive healthcare experience, with substantial experience in ambulatory infusion, home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or health system infusion services.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with responsibility for leading teams, strategic initiatives, or enterprise-level client relationships.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ambulatory and/or home infusion operations, including program development, implementation, optimization, and growth.
  • Experience managing large, complex health system or strategic client relationships and partnering with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the clinical, operational, and financial drivers of infusion services.
  • Proven ability to identify business opportunities and translate strategy into measurable operational and financial results.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving operations, clinical teams, finance, technology, and client leadership.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data, identify trends and operational gaps, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to navigate complex client environments, influence without direct authority, and balance multiple strategic priorities.
  • Experience developing and mentoring high-performing teams.
