Job Description

Market to Sales Business Analyst (M2S BA) will assist to shape, prioritize, and deliver solutions related to the Market to Sales workstream. This role is a member of IT team, will work with business stakeholders to define and prioritize stories based on business value.  M2S BA will interact daily with  development teams to design and deliver solutions. This role will require collaboration with business owners, scrum masters, developers, testers, and analysts to produce solutions with predictability and quality. 

M2S BA is a member of a larger M2S scrum team participating in backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily scrum, and retrospectives. As part of this role, the M2S BA will analyze business needs and work closely with an agile team to articulate, design, and deliver solutions that meet current and future business needs. 

Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with business counterparts to help shape the Market to Sales functional requirements and process. 
• Translate functional and business requirements into an actionable solution design. 
• Participate in building hands-on design, prototyping, proof of concepts of Salesforce CPQ and Billing requirements. 
• Oversee the implementation of the resolution solutions, at times working with external consultants when needed. 
• Provide recommendations for improvements to systems and processes to make Market to Sales business process and design more efficient and automated. 

 

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, task, and project coordination Skills. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Passionate and curious self-starter, who can juggle between multiple project initiatives and agile teams. 
• Curious and passionate learner.  

      Skills and Knowledge 

• 2+ years of experience working with Salesforce Sales cloud. 
• Proficient with Salesforce administration tasks. 
• Hands on experience of Salesforce automation using the Salesforce Lightning Flows, Process Builders is valued. 
• Knowledge of Agile software development process (e.g. Kanban, Scrum, etc.) 
• Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques: user stories, test driven development, continuous integration, continuous testing 
• Understanding and experience with end-to-end system integrations and overall business system landscapes 
• Ability to interpret documented business processes into application workflows and features 
• Salesforce CPQ experience, Salesforce Billing experience is highly valued. 
• Understanding of the SaaS, subscription contract lifecycle, includes contracts, subscriptions, amendments, renewals. 
• Understanding of CPQ impacts on the downstream billing, revenue systems. 
• Understanding of the Salesforce CPQ & Billing components; price and product rules, advanced approvals, quote documents, salesforce billing. 

Preferred 

• Salesforce Administrator certification preferred.
• Salesforce CPQ certification preferred
