AlphaGov is engaging Brownfield Environmental Engineers and EPA Brownfield Grant Administrators for current local-government work. Live pursuits include Phase I/II brownfield assessments with redevelopment planning, and administration of an EPA Brownfield Assessment grant.

What you'll do
- Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ASTM E1527/E1903)
- Prepare cleanup alternatives and redevelopment plans
- Manage EPA brownfield cooperative agreements: ACRES reporting, quarterly reports, QAPPs, and budgets
- Run community engagement and site inventory/prioritization
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

Requirements
Required
- At least 5 years of professional experience in brownfield assessment or EPA brownfield grant administration
- Experience with EPA Brownfields cooperative agreements and ACRES
- Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant
Nice to have
- PE or PG license (needed for assessment work)
- Environmental Professional per AAI rule
- New York or New Mexico experience
Design desalination and wastewater treatment plants, developing process and hydraulic engineering deliverables while supporting procurement, project teams, commissioning, and start-up across project phases.
Develop embedded Linux and firmware across custom devices, from hardware bring-up and bootloaders to kernel drivers, system performance, security, and cross-functional debugging.
Test, develop, review, and maintain cybersecurity labs, machines, and CTF challenges while creating documentation and researching vulnerabilities, exploits, tools, and AI technologies.
Design and lead scalable SaaS tools for implementation teams and customers, optimizing applications that handle datasets of 100+ million records while using AI-assisted development with strong engineering oversight.
