- Develop scalable, performant solutions for web applications and data pipelines.
- Partner with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to develop and execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
- Apply risk-reduction practices such as observability, alerting, metrics, high test coverage, and frequent incremental releases.
- Mentor and coach engineers through pull request reviews and constructive feedback.
- Improve and expand existing systems, choosing technological changes when they address the problem.
🛠️ Requirements
- BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years experience as an engineer building full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team.
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL or other database querying language on large multi-table data sets.
- 3+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting, solving for short-term and long-term business value.
- 3+ years of experience coaching other engineers.
- Experience building a full stack web applications in any language/framework.
- Expertise in at least 1 server-side web technology (eg: Nodejs, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++,Go, JVM).
- Experience working with data ingestion systems and optimizing performance for handling large-scale data processing and analysis.
- Familiarity with relational database systems.
- Experience with API design and development.
