📜 Description

  • Translate company direction into product strategy, investment choices, and clear decisions about what not to pursue.
  • Coach PMs through discovery, sharper problem framing, assumption testing, and readiness to ship.
  • Own quarterly planning, map cross-functional dependencies, and keep teams focused amid competing requests.
  • Join customer discovery, support deals, and bring market insight into product decisions.
  • Own a product area, partner with a small engineering team, and ship customer improvements regularly.

🛠️ Requirements

  • Been a Lead, Principal or Staff PM before or operated at that level without the title.
  • Know how SaaS or complex, relationship-driven B2B works. You understand how product decisions affect sales cycles and customer relationships and factor that in from the start.

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Familiarity with real estate, construction or financial processes.

✨ Benefits

  • Your success pays off: With our ESOP you share in Alasco’s long-term growth. When we win, you win.
  • Invest in your strongest resource: yourself: €2,000 learning and development budget per year, plus three dedicated L&D days. You decide where it goes.
  • Up to four weeks of workation per year: Because good work is not tied to one place.
  • 28 vacation days: So you can switch off between ambitious goals.
  • Your commute, your choice: €40 per month for Navit or Wellpass. For the way to the office or the workout after work.
  • We celebrate together: At company and team events the Alascians come together. Not because it is in the calendar, but because strong teams share more than numbers.
Full job description

The Role

As a Lead Product Manager at Alasco, you sit at the centre of how our product organisation works, makes decisions and creates customer and business value.

The role has two equally important parts.

First: you raise the bar for the entire product organisation. You shape strategy, spare experienced PMs and help make hard trade-offs across teams.

Second: you own a product area yourself, work closely with a small engineering team and drive real product impact for customers.

Alasco is AI-first, not as an aspiration but as a live reality in how we build and how we work. We give real ownership to people who are ready for it. There is no layer of coordination between you and the decisions that matter. If you want to shape the answer rather than wait for one, this is the right place.

What you’ll do

  • Turn company direction into product strategy: Define the problems worth solving, decide where to invest and make clear recommendations on what not to pursue.
  • Strengthen how the product organisation decides: Coach PMs during discovery, help them frame problems more sharply, test assumptions earlier and know when a solution is ready to ship.
  • Run the product cadence: Own the quarterly planning cadence, map dependencies across teams, product, engineering, design and product marketing, and keep the team focused when incoming requests compete for attention.
  • Stay close to the market: Join customer discovery, support deals and bring direct market insight back into product decisions.
  • Own a product area: Work closely with a small engineering team, stay close to customers and ship improvements regularly.

What you bring

  • Been a Lead, Principal or Staff PM before or operated at that level without the title.
  • Know how SaaS or complex, relationship-driven B2B works. You understand how product decisions affect sales cycles and customer relationships and factor that in from the start.
  • Influence that shapes how a product organisation thinks. You can challenge experienced PMs on their thinking without taking ownership of their decisions.
  • Use AI actively in your product work. You bring an AI First mindset to your tasks while understanding where human judgment is key. You see where AI can take real work off our customers' plates and you know how to ship AI features that work reliably in production.
  • Fluent in German and English

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with real estate, construction or financial processes.

What we offer
